- We are at the end of another Disney Plus MCU series She Hulk! But this ending wasn't quite like the others for more than one reason! So let's dive into all of the many things that we need to take away from the surprising ending for she hulk!

With the post credits scene I initially thought Emil meant that Wong was cameo-ing in another show, but Jen is really the only character who acknowledges that She-Hulk is a TV show. I think he actually meant that Wong got sucked into watching another show, like he did with the Sopranos when he was late to Emil's parole hearing.

My thought is while Hulk's line was likely a meta joke about him being recast, the character meant it as he has grown/gotten a handle on "the other guy" since he & Abomination fought. The writers might have had the same intent here, but I'm sure Emil's intent was to throw shade because Wong was late again because of watching a show 🤷🏻♂️

I dont think they were suggesting wong will cameo in another show bc only Jen breaks the fourth wall. Think Emil was referring to Wong’s recent addiction to watching tv, as we see in the episode about donnie blaze.

@@lilrodj605 yeah it's kinda odd because Smart Hulk himself said that he and Jen were unique and that their blood bonded with the gamma radiation making it sound as if it was rare and most attempts would end in other people dying. Yet everyone we've ever seen get Gamma radiated, except Stan Lee cameo who didn't die, becomes a Hulk. This show is not good and the writing is terrible. It is not meta or self aware

They finally gave She-Hulk her full trans-media powers! The way she transcended the format of the show and used the menu screen to move around was the way she used the structure of comic pages to move around. They're the unique powerset of the She-Hulk.
Imagine her in the Avengers Kang Dynasty, she’d go back to Marvel Studios only to be met with another Kang Variant lmao

I hope they give her real writers who care about these characters and the MCU for the future. Jenn/She-Hulk is a great character and deserves way better than this!! Tatiana Maslany is an amazing actress and deserves better than this!! And the fans who have spent countless hours and tons of money on the MCU for damn near 15 years…they deserve better than this!!
I spent years looking forward to this…and I don’t think I’d be this disappointed if they just came out and canceled the show 3 weeks before it premiered.
Yeah that show REALLY sucked. Maybe the worst thing Marvel has done. Total waste of great actress and great character. No plot, didn’t go anywhere, nothing to resolve…just a waste
Yeah. I've been a marvel fan since before the mcu. Im not a marvel/disney hater and what sucks is that fans are made to look like the bad guy when they have a negative opinion. To me it's okay to have criticism because I want them to make the best product possible. I feel like it was a slap on the face.

It’s totally meta that they wrote themselves into a corner and established remarkably little set up over 8 episodes! Subverting expectations has worked out so well in the past!

Skaar kinda looks like he was turned similar to Smart Hulk, more in control like Abomination. So, maybe by the time of World War Hulk, both Skaar and Hulk will look uncontrollably angry.
I was holding out hope the finale would make up for the rest of the show, but damn. People hate on the Eternals, but this was on a WHOLE other level.

I feel like they were going down the road with Todd becoming a hulk but then reshot everything. Credit due for being really different. It doesn't stick like Werewolf by Night. Not sure how I feel about it which is better than the way I was feeling when Tatiana and Bruce all busted in the room at the same time with no explanation.

I loved her joke about smashing mat Murdock I litterarlly died laughing haha. Ive been a diehard marvel fan since a kid and im 31 now (which by the way been down with you,cosmic wonder, since within the first year of you makin this channel) Lokey, Wandavision, and she-hulk got my wife into the mcu with me. And I gotta say she-hulk has deff been a solid show one of the top 3 shows they've done yet.
I've really enjoyed this very fresh approach to the MCU. I grinned all through the classic Incredible Hulk opening, and again through all the fourth wall breaking finale. I'm binging the whole series soon.
6:16 Another thing to notice when he said that, he said "The Visual Effects artists have moved on to another project" and if you listen closely you can hear the Wakandan instruments playing for a couple of seconds. Indicating why her Hulk CGI wasn't FULLY GOOD because they've been working on 'Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever'.
I had kinda low expectations because I knew it was unfortunately gonna be a very short episode...
So, in my opinion what we now got was very nice 👍🏻😀

I think Wong's response to the "in another show" comment suggests they were talking about Wong watching TV, since they already had that ongoing joke about that other character spoiling a show he was watching, and since She-Hulk is usually the only character to break the 4th wall.
I was really confused by Tom saying this. In the german dub it's pretty clear he's talking about Wongers watching TV

Idk about anybody else but watching the finale when they show the front of Jennifer’s parents house and go to the back yard where they are all eating I totally got a fast and the furious vibe

One of the worst Marvel shows up to date. They made Abomination look like a clown, Wong a fool, Daredevil was practically a waste & useless, nothing happens with Titania. What a huge waste!

The way they did the k.e.v.i.n. thing and spoke on a lot of what fans think n feel was awesome and loved the way the episode ended cause none of it except for skaar was expected.

The reception for the 4th wall break proves my theory that a Gwenpool movie would be massive at the moment.
Gwenpool basically does the same thing in the comics. She walks in and out of "reality" and can change the future by altering certain events. She-Hulk walking out of the show and into Marvel Studios is something Gwenpool would do.
I'm sorry, but this ending was ridiculous. I prayed the leaks weren't true but unfortunately they were. There's breaking the 4th wall, then there's going beyond and changing the story.
This kind of thing can actually work well if handled properly. Grant Morrison's "Animal Man" and Christopher Hasting's "Unbelievable Gwenpool" are good examples of 4th wall breaks that change the story.
One is a harrowing tale of a super hero realising that his life is fictional, as he ultimately meets his "maker" (Grant Morrison) who explains that he wrote all the good and bad moments Animal Man's life as a source of entertainment. The other is a light hearted yet emotional tale of a girl who believes she's a superhero, but is considered as crazy because of her antics (even though they are well justified). She goes through an entire character arc from being obnoxious and self centred, to actually caring about what happens to the side characters from her story after the final issue. Both these prove that breaking the 4th wall to an extreme can also be used to tell a good story.

I am discovering your channel and getting caught up on Disney+ MCU shows. I thought the show had a good beginning, but then lost me with some silly writing taking away from the main storyline. The finale, was one of my favorites thought. I thought they redeemed her character to where it should have been all along. I hope she comes back… she is after all an active member of the Avengers in the comics.
The whole series was a great turn from the formulaic MCU series and movies using the 4th wall breaking even better than Deadpool. Loved it and hope to see more

I LOVED the finale and how the show has always been one step ahead on what we thought. Even how they predicted the trolls hating on she-hulk, critiquing the twerking (again in the finale with the video of Jennifer), people wanting to see Daredevil, fans wanting to know about the X-Men… its been unexpected, and FUN, what you don’t see that much in the MCU nowadays.

I thought the same thing at first but my girlfriend pointed out this was probably just a poorly-placed joke about how Wong was binging TV shows with that girl from a few episodes ago; this entire episode was filled with fourth-wall-breaks, so we all just assumed that was them confirming Wong is going to be in another series.

I had a blast with the finale. The last two episodes honestly elevated the whole of the season for me. Before these last two episodes, I would've given the show like a 4 or a 5/10, pretty b-list sitcom stuff. But just on how much I enjoyed the last two episodes, I'd raise it to at least a 6.5/10.

Someone should read through that entire non disclosure agreement and see if there’s any clever Easter eggs in there. Like maybe it says something like “an example of breach of contract would include leaking John krasinski as the main mcu reed richards, the X-men official date being MM/DD/YYYY”. It’d be the best way to include an Easter egg in a fourth wall break sequence like that
I know I'm watching this way late but I've been busy and catching up now on all the marvel stuff i love everything marvel and I'm sick of all the phase 4 haters seriously get a life i don't get why they can't just appreciate any marvel content that we get nothing is perfect and just cause you don't think it's awesome dosen't make it bad!
