Now what if that is changed coz of exchange rates? 2- I dropped an email to my university since they have not provided me with anything called Certificate of Physical presence. So my visa application checklist for the embassy I am applying requires proof of housing with full German address. I do not have a dorm offer yet. What can I do ? Would it advisable to rent some cheap hostel or hotel for about 1 month for the visa process or should I just wait for longer housing offer ?

Though I have already submitted through mail but I didn’t get any response from them. It’s German Consulate Bangalore
Hello, Perhaps you could call the VFS Hotline number and ask them. Generally, they do reply to emails but there could be a delay of 3-4 working days. I think you can always send them by mail. Else perhaps you could ask someone to submit it on your behalf. They would have to carry the appointment letter on your behalf to do so. Hope this helps. Good luck!
Really helpful video, Can you just tell about about one thing as it is not mentioned in Visa Checklist, it is regarding that does one need bank statement by bank manager and ITRs for the visa process documents?
One more think is that they didn't accept "Additional Contact and Legal Representation Information" and "CV" for student visa although it was specified in checklist. They told me it's not required and have returned these documents.

Well, for a doctoral students, it was not necessary to submit notarized copies of transcripts at VFS Bangalore. However, the original degree certificates had to be submitted for verification. I hope this information helps you!
