Been waiting for these OA Compact Pro reviews! Glad I held off for now. I'm sure it will be great once issue addressed.

Im curious how long your break-in was. I got my compact pro a couple weeks ago. I’ve got about 500 through it over two range trips. I have similar wear patterns on the inside of the slide.
I have noticed that it smoothened out a lot after my first trip. It feels even more smooth after my second trip. Curious how the 3rd trip will perform.
I noticed a few failures. When it gets hot, slide lock starts to fail. I think the heat is creeping into the channel/hole where the pins and spring sit for the safety and slide lock. I’ve also had 4-5 fail to feed.
I’m also curious what ammo you found to work best. I’ve been running a variety through it (not really keeping close track). I have noticed some ammo was grouping better than others. I will be more scientific next trip. I was just excited to throw some hot lead down range with it.

It took about 300 rounds or so for mine to smooth out and become reliable. I haven’t noticed any issues with the slide lock, but it’s still picky with a few types of ammo. -Tyler Freel

I know they're completely different guns but how would you say the Oracle stacks up against the Beretta Px4 LTT?

Having only shot the PX4 storm, I would say that you will probably have a longer break-in period with the Oracle, but overall, it is higher-quality gun, and the compact pro is significantly more compact than the px4. I’d choose the Oracle personally. -Tyler Freel

      Morning.
Almost 20 years ago I was sent to FA instructor school. There were 8 other agencies represented by about 20 students. We fired about 1500 rounds over several days. We were told not to clean our service weapons until they failed.
Day one px4 storm .40 froze. Had to be tapped w Plastic hammer n soaked in oil to finish. The m9s we're shot out n ran great as long as they had oil.
After that the 9mm sigs needed oil, then the 40s,couple cracked the frame, finally on the last day the 9mm Glocks stated having a few issues ( could have been shooter fatigue or maintenance idk)
The Sig 220 and g 21&22 went all week with no issues.
So id definitely use a Beretta shotgun, but no way I'd trust their handguns.

They missed the mark though with no bull barrel and the fit finish feels really cheap

The correct answer would be no.
