Calvin i think forced a playoff and won after blasting a drive on 18 to get the difficult birdy or maybe even eagle don’t remember. Jonesboro maybe one of the last couple years I think.

Forgot the one with Nate Perkins and Big Jerm playoff at WACO some years back.
I’ve always thought about the spectators for disc golf/golf and I don’t really get it it. Balls and discs are not that predictable. Even if you’re a professional as we’ve seen before. It’d be like a watching a professional shooter and standing in his line of fire.

Trevor Toenjes owner of Local Route Disc Golf Store in Clearwater FL is suing McCease LLC for being accidentally hit by a disc while playing in Throw Down the Mountain tournament [March 2023] in Brooksville FL. #boycotlocalroute

I will never understand why cameramen stand in spots where they are very obviously going to get hit. A tee shot over water? Let me stand on the opposite shore in front of the basket, I’ll be safe there. A wooded hole with a straight narrow lane between the trees? I’ll stand right behind the basket in line with the tee, I won’t get hit
Those are a few of the only spots they can get views of shots, almost any spectator, spotter, camerman, etc is put at risk
yeah it's easy to not understand it until you do it yourself
they dedicated to getting the best shot possible. Not their fault the participants suck at their jobs. hahaha

I hate how no matter the situation the central coast crew always blames the person being hit by a disc. Dude they're standing out of bounds in many cases and we're there before the throw. At what point are you as the professional responsible for where your disc went?? They legitimately get angry at the person who just got hit. I get it it sucks that your disc went OB but you knew there was a chance throwing into where people are standing that you might hit someone!
OB doesn’t mean it’s smart to stand there. A lot of players hang the shots over OB or skip from OB to in bounds. Very similar situation to the umbrella on Ricky’s shot this past season.
Are you aware that throwing shots over OB that skip back in are often good and sometimes - required - options to play a hole? Watching disc golf is not like going to a football stadium, where you sack in your seat with a corn dog and zone out. If you're blocking possible throwing lines, at least pay attention.
