There's two important things people forget to do when building. 1.) Learning to turn snap on and off when needed. 2.) Learning to build custom shapes those prefab shapes are just there to give you an idea. You can build spiral staircases, double doors, and many other shapes if you build custom shapes
1. Fence units can overlap their posts, it you want a continuous fence. Try taking off the snapping. Btw, the carpenter will eventually give you stone fencing made of only stone. 2. As others have said, use the single block option to delete wall blocks for a double door. You can also “fill in” gaps with overallping large walls. You’ll only be charged the difference. In this game, you don’t need an even number of foundations to have a centered double-door. 3.check the corners of your build to make sure the wall pieces meet. 4. You have a number of flint mines right next to you. Look for patches of flint, they go underground.
you have to start with the lower land first with the rake then spread it out from there, that's why it didn't work when you tried on the walkway as you started on the higher land first. Also there is a big flintstone node right close to the starting base location... just run twords the shroud and there will be a mound with flintstone in it.
you don't have to fill in the holes with single blocks, you can still use the wall piece and it will only use the amount of empty space, you can see how much it will use in the numbers beside, same with the roof piece normally ;) saves a lot of time and you don't lose anyting more then needed, walls don't build into walls of the amount of a wall, it fills it in and only use the recource that's needed to fill the empty space, thank me later gr
For the double doors you make 2 single doors then make the double doors then remove the wall where you want it and place the doors down. Easy! Love your builds! Thanks!
Grow your own Broadleaf and Evergreen Tree seedlings in the seedbed. Plant them in farm soil and let them grow huge. I made the round plots but ended up using large square plots.
Hi Kage, think of the rake as a "level land tool", bring it over to the level of land that you want then drag it over to the land you want leveled and it should bring it to the same level you originally selected. @threadmenace has a video all about how OP the rake is.
All you had to do to fix the stone pathway is to use the rake beforehand, or after you messed up take the walkways away and then use the rake to flatten the land.
You can pull out the plants and replant them without losing anything when you make a mistake farming It’s the repot option you always see pop up Also there’s a butt ton of copper in the cave entrance you took before fighting all the spiders in the other video
Why do you hate the blacksmith? Forcing him to live in a shed behind a broken wall is just cruel. On a serious note have a look at enshrouded's subreddit for some inspiration. Making everything symmetrical and parallel and square never looks good.
Why the heck spend time and resources building a house for an NPC that doesn't need it but avoid looting barrels/pots because it cost time. The time usage logistics don't make sense.

Snapping ON snaps to connecting build pieces, either edge-to-edge to half-step. Snapping OFF snaps to the 1x1 grid.

Another great video, Kage! Instead of a single big building, you've got three big buildings. You not going to stop there...
Go to single block mode and cut doorframe to fit duble door you can do same with windows and made them even 2x height 3x wide
If you plan on making your armor as you progress, you need to shoot for about 1k flax. That'll give you everything you need
You could use that single building block for the wall to build a small stone/brick wall all the way around instead of that wooden fence
Btw the double door frame is right next to the door frame in the list, its just a cross beam that goes over the door
You need flax to make linen and u need linen to make padding. But u need the hunter loom to make linen
