- After a 2 year gap, we are back in the beautiful Lake District, climbing more Wainwright fells for the next 7 days…upon arrival, we hike 2 fells, Grange Fell and the smallest of all the Wainwrights, Castle Crag…smallest does NOT mean the easiest!
We’re also staying in an amazing cottage with the most stunning views, this wonderful place was used as a location in the BBC drama, The A-Word, a perfect base to climb lots of fells and somewhere to rest after a long day’s walking!

The Lake District is the one place that I would spend a lot of time if I ever got over there.. The views from the tops are absolutely fantastic.
Thanks for watching Max, kind regards, Simon
Lovely hike guys, trail looks a bit steep but definitely perfect for filming! Small streams are just amazing!
We were so glad to be back, thanks for watching, Simon
nice to see you back in the Lake District a very picturesque area and that is a cool cottage to stay in love the views you have
Thanks Craig, we were so glad to be back, we'd missed those hills!
Wow, I did not realise it was two years. Loved it. never heard of the A-Word at least not on the TV LOL
Its on iplayer, its worth a watch if you have a spare moment or two. Yes, we couldn't believe it had been two years, we're planning on going again later this year...

*🌞have a cool week🔆👍like☑full view✅🥸Au🦘*
Thank you Billy, yes the cottage was lovely, just right to relax after a day's hiking!
Superb Simon. Not a high first hill but it was one with character. I must say the area was looking decidedly green and beautiful - I mean the descent into the valley after the first high top was glorious. Re-the slate one I think I've seen people camp up there - it's no wonder. Well, a fine cottage indeed, which oddly felt like you walked too. Good going. Mark
Cheers Mark, all the best, Simon
@@unowhotravelchannel A pleasure Simon - another cool adventure.
Good to see you back. Although apparently Elaine’s statue at the base of the Nab has been pulled down, because it was thought you’d abandoned the Lake District.
A petition is needed for it's rebuilding...
@@unowhotravelchannel Only after you have faced your darkest fears. You must face the Nab….. again !
