Daniel is gonna be a smart boy. A Russian raised in Serbia. Not many people know that we from Balkans are well educated. We dont have problems to learn langues, cus we where conquered by several Empires. Depend on the region you will find some Turkish, German and Italian words and of course Slavik.
That food is considered Street Food or Tavern Pub restaurant food but real homemade Cuisine is something else it's absolutely amazing but I love eating that when I go back home it's the best you can never duplicate it in other countries
When our girls were little, we used to take them to 6th generation family owned Willowbank farm at Port Williams in Nova Scotia. We would all look for nice pumpkins to carve in a couple of weeks for Halloween and pick beautiful, crisp fresh apples off of the trees to take home and enjoy. The farm also included a 'petting zoo' with goats, turkeys, rabbits, ducks, cows, horses (which also gave rides), a little farm museum and a 'scary' indoor Halloween castle, complete with lots of recorded creepy growls and laughing, made of bales of straw for aspiring young monsters to crawl through. The kids loved it. Combining something like that with a restaurant sounds like a great idea. It's also smart marketing because if they really enjoy themselves, the kids will keep dragging their parents back there! I guess it's also nice to give the kiddies some idea where their dinner comes from. I'm sure many imagine the meat is 'made' at the butchers or supermarket before being wrapped in plastic, until told otherwise. 02:52 - That soup looks pretty tasty. I'm getting the idea that Serbians can eat pretty well. If you ever make it to Nova Scotia I'll introduce you to a really nice fish chowder. That mushroom and bacon dish and the schnitzel thingy both look tasty as well! I hope this all doesn't cost you extra time at the gym Kseniya .... I'll be in the UK for September but I think a Serbian day trip is probably a bit too much. Thanks for a nice warm and fuzzy family video Kseniya! Some day Restaurant 'Sailor Nom' is going to be absolutely incredible!
Awh thank you for sharing your warm memories! I bet it was really fun :) Speaking about gym… hmm… well 😅 I don’t really go there, but today I’m going to the gym to ask whether they have coaches, so I can start my power lifting journey again :) wish me luck 😅
@@SailorNom I think you’re doing pretty well! Lots of biking and walking is helpful! Of course less white bread/white rice, little sugar and only whole grains is a good idea too- this is something I’m doing now. More lean meat and fish, more fruits and vegetables, more water and walking. 💙🌻💙🍓🫐🍒🍅🍐🌶🥦🫒🧄🧆🥙🥘🥚🐟💧🚲💪🏽🌅
Hi Kseniya looks a nice place and food looks delirious, what was that sausage shaped roll you had that ,you said it was a bit greasy but it looked tasty, love to you all
Well you eaten it, you know by the taste what kind of meat it was. 2:49 it just looked to dark for chicken and the most common čorba in restaurants is teleća čorba 😄 and it usually looks like that one. Anyway every soup or čorba is healthy during this hot days.
@@SailorNom Well Serbia is a heven for Meat lovers. But Our Vegetables and Fruits are not the worst eather.I have a Zajecarsko wright now, its a bit early but not for me😉
Orry to say but thats far away from serbian food ...search a little bit before you go to actualy try some real serbian food ..karadjordjeva should look better and the other thing with mushrooms ...thsts just ...not "serbian" food.
You guys are all red in faces.. Use some SPF, please🤠 And, some workout. is a MUST after this portions...thay are indeed tasty and yummy, but it's not for home-car-work-car-home-car-restaurant-car-bed routine🥨🥨🥨
So this is how my ancestors lived, it’s so beautiful ❤

I wish I could stop eating… but it seems like nothing can stop me 😂
Near Novi Sad - so maybe there's a bit of Austro-Hungary going on. Serbian cuisine tends to vary according to who ruled.
Make more video like this.
I have only one question, how you stay slim after all this food?😀😂
I will do more! Cmooooooon! I’m not slim at all and I’m struggling with it 😁😁😁
