I miss these kinds of Nike shoes. Early 2010s had some of the best basketball shoes performance and aesthetic wise

I strongly agree with your comment in the beginning about skipping models for retros. I was so upset when I heard they’re skipping the Kobe 7 because they could’ve benefited the most from a protro since they had the best looks imo but didn’t perform well
On the flip side, may be those shoes that didn't perform well should benefit the most in protros "IF" manufacturer would have the guts to upgrade its performance
True I definitely agree that the Kobe 7 deserved a protro and was disappointed that it was skipped. They are great looking shoes aesthetically

This is the first nightwing2303 review I watched way back!!! Bought the white pair first then stumbled upon nightwing’s channel and learned a lot about my first ever nike bball shoe. Nostalgic as hell

Dude those all black kd 3s might have been the most durable basketball shoe I ever had. Only wore them outside and lasted years. Absolutely fantastic shoes
this was the first shoe I ever purchased with my own money. saved up $100 and walked in and bought the yellow Christmas pair for $88 + taxes. Wore them down until they had a hole in the bottom lol

Ngl definitely had a moment talking abt the old vids, Got into shoes from being a basketball fan.. started with the eastbay mags… felt like god himself came to town when we finally got a hibbett sports. Chris was one of the first channels I every watched bc he was THE ONLY performance shoes reviewer on yt🙏🏾 especially the being a wade fan and not being able to see his shoes literally anywhere

I'm with you on this one! I wish they retroed shoes in the order they began haha. Other than that, always enjoy your older reviews (one reason why I bought the Jordan 2009's, and am currently eyeing the 2010-2012s haha.)

Hey Chris, I’ve been watching your videos for probably 2 or so years now, I was super into the normal hype shoes, mainly 1s, dunks, etc because of the hype. I’ve been watching your videos and it’s helped me branch out a lot into different lesser popular/hyped up shoes. Ive sold off a couple of my 1s but I’ve added some new balances and 4s to my collection, and I’m hoping to add the georgetown 6s soon. Love your content, and always excited to see what other shoes you guys cover!
I love the yellow with blue swoosh and while on gold colorways back in the day so much
I remember back in the day I had the 2011 hyperfuse low and they never retro’d that shoe and they prob will never but I remember trying the kd3 at a footlocker and the fit and feel is similar, so I’m super excited for the drop!!

I still remember the last release of the Black Air Jordan 15 SNKRS said forefoot and heel zoom air and it didn’t have that. I returned them and got the Storm Blue 1 on clearance lol good times.

Crazy thing is the KD4s were $95 retail. That and the fact they look great made them a hit.
Kd and kobe and ky all had inexpensive sneakers at that time. Only lebron had sneaker prices at 200$.

KD had 34 points in these in the All-Star Game. Pretty dope historically for KD or basketball fans.
Yeah should have started at the 1. These were a bit let down from the 2's, they were heavy and clunky. The 2's were awesome, especially in the all star colorway!
Sad times, I was shocked when one of the girls in work said she had never seen fight club, then she hit me with I wasn't even born when it came out, that hit hard.

The golden era of basketball shoes, the campaign were dope back then like for the all stars game, Christmas day, easter, etc and the design is way way better compared to these day basketball shoes
Nah. I disagree. You might be young but the golden era was 94-95. The best kicks came out in that time.
I'm looking to making an attempt to get the KD3 Christmas ones, i know you said true to size but not sure if you meant true to size on any KD3, for an example, I wear an 11.5 in a Jordan 1, would you suggest I go with that same size or should I size up a bit. Thanks and have a great day
