FILM DESCRIPTION:
Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home. Along for the ride is Jia, an orphaned girl who has a unique and powerful bond with the mighty beast. However, they soon find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla as he cuts a swath of destruction across the globe. Am I the only one who appreciate's the Warbat's method of attacking prey? Coiling around them so they can't get away, and then suffocating them with their wings. Pretty damn cool in my opinion.

Obviously Kong is much larger than his Kong: Skull Island counter part, I think it would have been kickass to see him fight either four smaller skull crawlers or two of the massive skullcrawlers we see in the final fight

There are two classifications for titans in the monsterverse immortal titans(who can't die by age)like Godzilla, Ghidorah, rodan, Methuselah who don't need physical food but radiation and mortal titans kong, skullcrawlers, warbats who need physical food and I only listed a few titans for both categories.

To clarify this scene and why Kong "lost" against the Warbats (Nozuki).
1. Kong is inexperienced with these creatures. He has never fought anything like them before.
2. Kong beat his chest right after slamming the carcass into the other. This gave the larger Warbat some time to recover.
3. Kong wasn’t in any danger here. The official novelization supports this and Kong wasn’t losing this fight at all. The humans simply accelerated the fight.
The novelization gives absolutely zero evidence kong having the potential to get out of the warbat's grip. Like you said he was inexperienced and this same scene in the novelization plays out the same way. Kong was in danger if 1. He never encountered them before and 2. Had limited movement of his body and 3. The humans felt necessary to intervene.
This scene is so terrible that you have to make up excuses. Such a terribly written movie if he can't even take on a war bat what is the point of him fighting with the king of the monsters...

You call the scene horrible even though kong's inexperienced is a valid reason for why the scene played out the way it was. You're essentially downplaying or flat out ignoring the obvious fact kong is inexperienced compared to godzilla. How is kong supposed to fight a warbat when he never fought one before. He took one down by a sneak attack but never outright attacked him directly. This was a obvious statement kong fans should of known from the start. The minute kong is off his island his inexperienced in fighting will show. That's not bad writing That's just common sense. Everyone knew godzilla always had more fighting experience since gvk was announced.
One titan having more fighting experience over another is a simple fact not bad writing by no means. Having a inexperienced titan suddenly have good fighting experience that's on par with his opponent however IS bad writing. If you hate the movie STOP coming to movie clips of it 🙄

@@m_0714he was used to fighting Skull Island creatures. On Skull Island he was the undisputed Apex Pred. The biggest fish in a small pond, if you will. It's obvious that every creature on Skulls Island would know to respect and fear Kong's power and status. These Nozuki are a different story. They probably don't encounter other creatures willing to fight back. Though apparently according to the screenwriters Kong was going to win regardless, the humans just sped things up.

It's interesting to me how they were actually mirroring the fighting styles of real gorillas but still doing it in a way that is epic.
Thats why it looked similar to King kong (2005) who was a literal gorilla just bigger. The way this kong pushed the warbats wings into its face was very similar to Kong(2005) crushed the V-rex skull.

I wish it has the intensity and horror just like the 2014 film! The Monsterverse NEEDS to be ominously scary and very impactful in regards to fights or a confrontation to make it very intense and indulging the general audience! The vast scale of the monsters and the beautiful shots... the eerie vibes!

I love how King Kongs super strength is so powerful he can kill most Titans with just his fists alone without having to do anything else to win fights. It’s bullshit they don’t show King Kong use his teeth against other titans. Gorillas don’t have big canines for show. They use them all the time in fights besides their physical strength. Imagine what King Kongs teeth can do to other Titans. I really wish they would’ve done a scene where Kong bites Godzilla in the gills so bad he wins another round. Cause Godzillas gills are one of his weaknesses like what the MUTOS showed.

For those saying Kong is weak and would've died, no, there's two ways he could have won easily.
1: He could've sucked in the winged flesh of the Warbat with his mouth and bitten it.
2: His legs were usable, so he could've slammed himself onto the ground and trampled the Warbat enough that he'd let go.

Kong got pretty lucky with the first Warbat, he just happened to slam him into the ground near some large giant spike shaped rocks and impale it's head on one of them

Most of them are probably sleeping or hibernating. And others basically just keeping their distance from Godzilla seeing him as a threat to most of them if they tried to piss him off. But would like to see more of them and seeing their habitat.

But I don’t know, Adam hasn’t made that specific part clear outside of the inconsistent Godzilla/Kong stats (also in the opening credits). There wouldn’t have been anything for Kong to learn in or from the fight as he could’ve literally DIED! Had the humans not backed him up those creatures - Skullcrawlers and Warbats, would’ve killed him. The humans play a part in these movies because they have no choice but to get involved. Godzilla and Kong aren’t enough we have seen them struggle and nearly fall against tougher creatures. Besides, the battle of these giant titans are taking place on EARTH! Where last time I checked humans live on. You can’t expect the humans to sit on the sidelines and let their protectors die at the hands of bigger and deadlier creatures that, once they finish off the heroic titans, they’ll turn around and destroy humanity afterward. It’s the same situation in the Transformers movies. Humans get involved because, as I’ve stated before, the battle is taking place on THEIR PLANET, OUR PLANET! They have no choice but to fight along side the good ones or at least provide.
