The sheer power emitted from it I guess? I've decided I wanna download that hi honey parts once she's done streaming but ofc, we have speed so it saves me some time
it was the very first stream I watched of Suisei. Had only seen a few clips and heard legends of the Suicopath before. And now "hi honey~" is everywhere. Her way of saying it is super hot though, I can understand why it blew up like that
Tbf she should be pretty good with it as her mum is an English teacher iirc, but she is just lazy with it. The real surprise for me is pekora who will read something in English, be absolutely spot on in pronouncing what she has read in the actual English way and not the jp way, and then turn to the chat to ask what it means 😅
@McDumDum at the time my Japanese was much weaker, so I couldn't hear the syllables and didn't understand what she was saying. As for commenting in Japanese, I think it's much better to run your comment thru a machine translator to make it easier for them to read. Even if it gets parts wrong, they themselves will be running it thru the same machine so it doesn't matter. Honestly, it's weirder to send an English comment and expect them to understand you perfectly since they don't speak English
The emphasis and passion in her "Hi Honey!" is just great. Also helps that she sounds very American. If I heard that without context I'd think it was a normal [maybe a bit enthusiastic actually] American woman saying hi honey.
It's the gap moe that makes this such a huge hit. Sui chan's always had a big energy personality, but with her 'new' voice it just hits different. It's smug, sweet, Suicopath all in one, except with a more 'authentic' vocal pitch.
@@ex_potato Yeah, definitely. It's made me want to watch more Sui-Chan actually. I watch a lot of hololive but some of the girls have just fallen through the cracks cause there's like 40+ of them with endless clips and content and it's just impossible to keep up with all of it lol. But yeah I think you hit the nail on the head with your explanation. It's like perfect overseas bros fan service, but not _That_ kind of fan service lol
She's knows that if she just does it on command that people will wear it out quickly and stop asking her to do it. I assume this is intentional. Sui-Chan is very smart. Lol.
She had some throat issues so she choose to change it to avoid problems in the future. There are clips where she explains, nothing to worry about though.
I don't really get the appeal here, to me Suisei's hi honey sounds exactly like the 45 year old mom she mimicked in the first place, not in any way like it's addressed to a lover.
"I can do it as many times as you want"
*Yes please*
i can do this all day
She does it the exact same way every time it's like a soundboard lol
pulled the words right out of my mouth lol
she's got amazing control of her voice
@@MABfan11 She's not only talented but trained as fuck, great voice.
Suisei: HI~ HI~ HI~
Birds: MINE~ MINE~ MINE~ MINE~ MINE~
Was going to comment this, but you are already doing God’s work.
Same energy
I guess I'm kind of randomly asking but does anybody know a good website to watch new series online?
@Issac Jett Try Flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
@Fletcher Jax Yea, been watching on FlixZone for months myself :D
1:23 Not sure what these guys are talking about. It's obvious she's talking to me.
Who gonan tell this guy
I don't wanna be responsible fo his death so somebody else do it
No me
Crushing someone's dreams wasn't in the contract, so I'm not telling him.
F
To the 3 men that died
*I will be joining you guys*
"Mm~ Unfortunately, that wasn't for you"
Stop! He is already dead!
1:20 YESS I REPEAT MAN DOWN!!! WE NEED MEDIC NOW!!
He was saved and then killed by his savior, classic Sui-chan
Pain
Saved, shot, down and bleeding and just to make it worse, gets another shot to finish him off... xD xD Sui-chan best girl
Just give him some essential oil and he will be fine
0:36 Seagulls in finding nemo
LMAO
Can't wait for the red superchats just for another Hi Honey
0:32 Too good of an offer to pass up on
I'm kinda surprised it blew up, too. I watched that Duolingo stream live and thought nothing of it.
Lol me too, now that it's famous we got bragging rights though, we were there during the start of it all, congrats on seeing the start of the legend.
The sheer power emitted from it I guess? I've decided I wanna download that hi honey parts once she's done streaming but ofc, we have speed so it saves me some time
I already make it my ringtone after that stream.
Chat was extremely excited at the time. I thought it would become a sensation if it got clipped, and I was right.

Her pronounciation is actually surprisingly good when she says "Hi honey"

People in chat saying it "feels cheap"
Meanwhile they watch the same video 50 times
1:19 I sent that comment. Thank you for translating it, I had no idea what she said to me
You're the hero

@McDumDum only the "my coworkers heard you" part. The rest was me.
"Hi Honey" wouldn't be as popular if Suisei didn't say it the way she did.
Uhh I can just die in peace because of the way she said it.
1:25 oooooooh I felt that pain for my guy😬😬😬
i know, even i felt the pain.
It hurts
Her voice range is just cool
Is that suisei singing the domestic na Kanojo opening in the end? I FUCKING LOVE IT
"oh she's a little quiet let me turn my vol-"
HI HOOONNNNEEEYYY
Perfection at it's finest
Thank you for the clip xD 1:46 is my favorite wwww
Other member might be cute saying it, but Suisei tone is what make the meme so good.
When she repeated HI HI HII.. I suddenly remebered seaguls from 'Finding Nemo'
Yes! sui-chan is our everyone honey~
Thanks for the playlists king 👑
Even without a weapon she is deadly
0:33 Hi Honey~~, Hi! Hi! Haiii! Highhhh!

English: "Hiiii Hiiii Hiiii" damn
She really do be spoiling us
"Hi honey" is such a classic word uttered in romcom.
Its not about the phrase, its the tone how Suisei says it.
everytime she says hi honey there's a magnitude 8.1 earthquake in my heart
I love her careless sense of humour.
I LOVE HER
She has a voice crack every hi honey she says
Her "hi" was...
Terrifying and adorable at the same time
HI HONEYYY
Suisei of the Cool Voice
I didn't know I could fall in love with her all over again
Aww... Another sweet honey ...
Of course me
cant wait to pull her in genshin impact
She's knows that if she just does it on command that people will wear it out quickly and stop asking her to do it. I assume this is intentional. Sui-Chan is very smart. Lol.
If only she can make a song about it.
When Hi honey is sus
It's not the Hi Honey
It's the way she say it *HI HONEY~~~*
I hear something and its from Finding Nemo
Who’s Suisei’s honey?
Hmm... shotas?
SHOTACON JANAI YO
@@WaterCryo Hello Sui Chan
Why did meteor come out at 1:28
no guys it's me she's talking to obviously
"I'm surprised it blew up."
I don't know why these girls don't understand, that roleplaying as a girlfriend or housewife makes a viewer happy?
what is Suzie singing on the ending credit?
Now it just sounds forced, the original hi honey can never be recreated.
I´m not watching Vtubers that often but here voice chanced doesn´t it?
She had some throat issues so she choose to change it to avoid problems in the future. There are clips where she explains, nothing to worry about though.
Sui-chan's "Hi honey" already dropped her hoshiyomis and even other holos
Now she's switched to roasting them too? Can someone stop this woman???
Its Dio
it me
So.. it's me
