I was at the Cliffs of Mother in Ireland. It was around 2:30 their time in the afternoon. The news was coming over radios in the parking lot and people were all freaking out and yelling They took the towers out. It took a few minutes to figure out what had occurred. The country pretty much went into mourning. I was stranded there until flights were up and running again. The Irish people were very gracious in taking care of us that couldn't get home to the states.

I was at work at a house east of Sanford, North Carolina. We were finishing up the job. We left around noon hour ride home and watched the rest on tv. We did listen to the radio on the ride home when the towers fell. Thanks for all you do, Mr. The Philly Capt

I was a worker at a delinquent training facility in Olwein, Iowa with 20 teenaged. Although the chances the bad guys would target Iowa, was bill, the kids thought they were next. I’m from Philly and listen to you to make sure I keep and refresh my Philly talk and attitude. I’m now in Denvet, Colorado. When I offer an opinion they ask if I’m mad. NO, I’m just sarcastic GD. Great walk. love it.

I was in 3rd grade in Danbury, CT. The children whose parents loved them came and picked them up early. I stayed in school all day

I was in my cabin in Homer Alaska, I had played music and tripped all night and in Alaska it was early in the morning when I got home and turned on the television. There it was the first thing I saw the plane hitting the building, it didn’t seem real. I live in Hawaii now , someone please have a cheese steak for me !
I was a city letter carrier written 9/11 occurred. Left the station to deliver my route shortly before the attack. I walked into the Skyline Chili restaurant to do my first delivery of the day. Rather than the happy crew of employees that usually greeted me, I was asked by a teary-eyed server if I had heard about the attack. I hadn't. That scene played out at all the businesses that were on my route.
It was a long day.

I used to see people while I was riding the El to and from Center City selling packs of socks, undershirts, DVDs, and music CDs. Also had a guy one time hassling me to buy a gold necklace from him while I was going downtown. I was getting ready to go to work in the morning of 9/11. I had the tv on and they broke in with breaking news after the plane hit the first tower. I saw the second plane hit the second tower live while the news broadcast was going and I said to myself something is going on. I found out about the third plane hitting the Pentagon later on when I was at work. I didn't know what was going on after all of that.

i worked at a company that sold business training videos and cd-roms...i worked in the shipping/mailroom...listening to howard stern and gary came on mic to say a plane hit one of the towers...then the second one...i then go to the front office and alerted everyone and turned on the tv we have for people to come in and preview the programs to watch some of the news coverage

On 9-11 I was stationed on Okinawa Japan as an active duty Marine. We were “locked down” as a super typhoon was rolling over us.
I was suspended from highschool just got done telling my mom night before I wasn't going back the next day i was done wot school and woke up to her yelling up steps "WE'RE GETTING BOMBED!!" I remember thinking she jus tryna wake me up for school so i walk down to tell her I wasn't going and seen second plane hit.. so wasn't just worse day in American history but day in made worse discussion of my life!! Well 1st ina series of bad decisions 🤷🏻♂️

On 9/11 I was in the hospital with my then wife and 2 day old son getting ready to bring him home. So many rumors flying about how the hospital was being emptied to take on victims from NYC. This was in Meriden CT.
But on the simulation thing, we absolutely are in a simulation. Based on what I eat alone, I should be 700 pounds and dead, but ET keeps saying "dont kill him off yet, let's see what happens next."
They will be back.. Unless the government, county , state and Federal provides housing and social services...There are plenty of unused buildings they can use temporarily...

K&A is looking much better now. The new mayor Parker is making a difference. Now, we need more city trash cans on the street for well-meaning folks to clean up their pavement areas as an assist to the city's effort. Kudos go out to Mayor Cherelle Parker. " ...watch what I do..."
The unfortunate souls suffering homelessness and addiction moved to other areas of the city. Several set up camp at 8th and Market and other intersections downtown. No denying though that as mayor, she's doing exponentially more in her first months as mayor than that useless bozo she succeeded did in eight years.

Go a block past Kensington up to Allegheny and look at all the people sitting all along allegeheny. They’re all around the schools now. We just moved the problem off the ave for gentrifiers, but hey! I was in a yahoo chat room when I heard about 9/11.
On 9/11 I was downstairs in the living room at our house in Murrieta (SoCal) getting ready to leave for 40mi commute to work in San Diego, and my 13yo daughter was getting ready to go to middle school, and the TV was showing the first building burning, and then the 2nd plane hit live, and the idiot announcers didnt understand that it was another plane they just saw hit. Anyway, i told my daughter im gonna go to work late, and your gonna be late for school, because this is a once in a lifetime event... then, the first tower fell, and i told my daughter that we just witnessed thousands of people die.

My wife(now x)had a appointment for a ultrasound. We honestly thought they were gonna cancel it but they didn't. So on our way there we changed our minds. The original plan was not to find out the babys sex. For whatever reason that day we decided to find out We were told we were having a girl.And just last week she graduated from Rowan college. Time sure does fly.
I would never walk my dog in those areas

It's sad what happened with pep boys .....they USED to be the place for auto parts ....now they don't even sell auto parts ....all they want to do is service work .....and they are horrible at that.

How do people afford drugs if they are homeless? That had to be a child asking that question.. short answer….criminal activity. Theft, prostitution,dealing drugs to other addicts, etc.
