@@Samrculley I was at Ashness Bridge the other week too, can’t say I know the area really, only just getting more into Landscape, down to COVID truth be told as I’m mainly a Street Photographer but we were up in Silloth for a few days and there’s less than nothing there beside the Prom that’s apparently known for its Sunsets which I can believe but won’t be rushing back. Just went to Keswick for the day and found the bridge looking for a parking space for Derwentwater, got a few shots there, one was my best ever Landscape shot which surprised me how well it turned out, for me that is, may be things wrong in for others standards but I was over the moon. Went in to Keswick for lunch with the intention of going round the water afterwards but the weather had other ideas and I was there with my wife and dog and not dressed for the weather being too bad, well they weren’t
@@bcegerton sounds like you had a nice trip, always good to be up in the lakes, there's so many places for great landscape shots, have you been up the catbells? There's an epic view of derwent water from up there, would make a fantastic shot or two !
@@Samrculley No mate, can’t drive at the minute as I’ve had my license revoked due to being diagnosed with Sleep Apnoea, should get it back in a couple of months once I can show I’m settled with the machine and doing enough time on it. Like I say my passion is Street Photography and I can’t even get in to Manchester without my wife taking me at the minute, driving me insane
