I was originally going to post an RMC conversion of Quest, the massive wooden coaster from my first coasters video, this week, but couldn't because the editing problem I had before is back. I felt that video had to include the past and updated POVs, as well as some off ride shots comparing the coasters, which I could not do without being able to edit. So I'll post that when I can and after, I'll post the Gerstlauer hyper I'm currently working on. Meanwhile enjoy this old Intamin of mine!
Okay, a challenge. Make a coaster with 3 inversions with 500 meters of track. Less always welcome. Speed needs to be 80 to 90 kilometers per hour. Inversions and track is up to you. Goodluck if you gonna do this challenge.
There are 5 views in the play mode of the sim: fly view, fly by view, ride view, pursuit view, and target view. You press the E key to switch between views. Fly by view is the view I use to film POV's. When you enter the view, use WASD and your mouse to position yourself at the front of the train, close to the track, and just look at the track. That's it!
The intamin track is already in the game. Just set your coaster style to Rocket Coaster and click on the track, in the settings tab that pops up go to the bottom and set the track style to "modern double spine".
Not sure about specific elements, but you can set the entire track to twist around the coaster style's heartline when you click on coaster properties. I don't remember which tab of the coaster properties it is though. All my new rides twist around the heartline of the riders.
The 4d coaster is actually in the vanilla game, you can select it as a coaster type when you click on the coaster properties button in the coaster tab of the editor.
