When to harvest my sweet potatoes in pot. People out there are curious to know when we can harvest our sweet potatoes in pot or in containers. Some opinion says that we can harvest sweet potatoes after 150 days and certainly just after a vine-killing frost. You can take a look at the leaves, if the leaves turn yellow that means you can harvest your sweet potatoes.
Today's episode will show potato you the type of sweet potatoes called Garnet sweet potato that is suitable to plant in pots or containers. Initially, Garnet sweet potato produces more tubers than other types of sweet potatoes in pots.
Soil preparation:
Add garden soil or black soil, compost, peat moss/ coco peats, rock phosphate, and dolomite. Mix them and put them in the pots.
Pots size:
You can use 15 cm of pots and above to plant sweet potato.
