For real he should, like if his fundraiser stuff goes well and he's able to hire programmers and animators for his game he should just start doing twitch, he genuinely seems to enjoy it and is very weirdly entertaining to watch at times.
I know people will probably use it as another reason to give him shit, but I'm glad he has such a good time, especially considering how he hasn't taken all the backlash very well. (To clarify I'm not saying he's not deserving of any criticism. Just that I'm glad he's not completely miserable)
nobody is immune to criticism, but whether or not you're right in your criticism of someone, you have no right to be an asshole about it. He's a good guy. He's entertaining as well. But, I feel like maybe people are simply too harsh on him. Most indie devs will scrap dozens of projects before actually finishing something, because that's just how the process goes. I don't think he ever intended for yansim to become as big of a thing as it did, and now he's suffering for it. Developer burnout is real. Every indie dev can tell you that they probably have 30 or so unfinished, half baked projects that are never going to be finished because that's simply a part of the process of making a game. You get an idea, you bring it to life, and you learn how you fucked it up and move on to something else, taking those lessons with you. It's a shame that people are as awful to him as they are, because, if I'm being honest, I don't think he was ever going to finish it in the first place.

I do a lot of writing as a hobby and between completing a work, there's usually two years of me agonizing over what the next thing should be, coming up with ideas, writing them out, then scrapping them immediately. I have like 30k words of trashed material just for the thing I'm currently working on, and that's just from the stage of me figuring out what the fuck I even wanna write

The Anime as whole is filled with a vast variety of various different Genres of different original stories that delve into ideas that only geniuses can think of. There's also the mediocre entertainment stuff. However, if You're trying to say that All Anime is the same, then you're basically comparing shows like "Dora the explorer" to "Family Guy" or to "The office" and saying that All of these shows are the same.
