Indeed. This is probably my favorite hard rock record. This style of songwriting really suits Don's vocals. Wore it out on cassette. Still rock out to it weekly.
It's nice to see people giving billy white credit where credit is due. There are hundreds of clueless idiots who still think every solo on this album was played by john Norum. Billy white was the main talent behind this band.

You know.....the old leadsinger problem......at some point the voice is gone, and Don can`t reach " The high Notes " anymore....sadly. King Diamond can`t reach The High notes either, but he married a much younger woman, that can sing, so she helps him reach those high notes, when he plays live, so hopefully Don does the same, so I can go watch him live, with Kovichikov on lead guitar. I`ll be checking your channel every now and then, and I really hope, that you might do some of the other solos from " Up From The Ashes " ?? There`s not a bad solo on that album, they`re all great, awesome solos. I`ve taken a lot of inspiration from George Lynch in my own guitar playing, but even he couldn`t have done any better solos. So...Kovichikov...after writing a small novelle, it gives me hope, that someone like you, is keeping " The Lead guitar " alive, it`s very much needed, and I truly thank you for doing that. Take care........and let`s rock !!!!!
