Growing up in the Chicago suburbs we could grow anything in that beautiful God given soil. Oh how I miss it!

Pasquale is a friend of mine and he's the best Italian Master Gardener this side of Italy!! His garden is beautiful and full of life...standing in his garden you get a sense of the devotion and talent this man has, plus the love of growing shows not only in his plants, but also in the food he prepares. He truly is a fine example of Old World charm, values, techniques, and perseverance. His wife is the perfect partner who stands by his side helping preserve and prepare the bounty of the harvest. Keep growing...:-)

I would love to see the layout of the garden. The soil areas vs the cemented areas. And also what he uses in his soul every spring?
    Does he compost?
I would love to see that.
    Thank you

There should be a way we can trade seeds across the country.
