Tactical dice-rolling roguelike combat. Take control of 5 heroes, each with their own unique dice. Fight your way through 20 levels of monsters and try to take on the final boss. If you lose a single fight you have to start over so be careful (and lucky!).

Would like to watch a run where you level up the characters with the random button from the start. Love the content, hope it continues.
This game is in an extremely unusual spot for me where it’s got an absolutely insane amount of content but I wish it had more achievements and unlockables to go with that content. The number of high tier items is a bit limited, and a lot of challenges in the game (like beating loot mode) don’t have any unlockables. I can hope for future updates because I love the game and it’s got so many fun ways to play!
It looks pretty fun
The randomly generated stuff fills in for some of the "late game" items and heroes, but it can be pretty bad or wacky though too. The game is really just balanced really well for these 1 hour runs through the basic modes. Everything else is already just fluff and extras. Tann has been developing S&D really pretty regularly though, so I don't expect him to stop. If anything, he's hopefully seeing enough success now that maybe he can focus on it a little more.
I'd really like to see him flesh out fights 21-30, because nightmare is interesting, but it's kinda a disaster in practice lol. Besides that, I wish the cursed treasure chests and addMonster challenges were made actually tempting. It's super rare for those to be good, unless they show you the exact item you need.
Eggshell and barbarian was a fun combo!

ive noticed that theres a LOT of crappy t7 items, Mushroom and Wooden Band are explicit downgrades of Eye Of Horus which is really dumb
I recently went for 0 level thing +1 pip, -2 max hp for all monsters. The effect was kinda strange on some monsters. Mostly because it doesn't move triggered hp, so ghosts doesn't go invinsible at all - the trigger hp is missing. And skeletons really turn into bombs this way.

It's honestly probably the easiest team to click on after Basic. I wish we could have seen some steel pop off though.

I guess I just usually have a good setup when I encounter The Hand. The only boss I tend to have trouble with when I make it there is The Inevitable.
The lead boots basically nullifies the curse of you can only reroll if you have four or less die to reroll.
The heavy and eliminate is interesting, but not really the best on most runs, it's either wait till last enemy or get all enemies at equal hp

By clicking the question mark in between the yes or no between fleeing, you can set it to either permanently flee or stay.
He knows and prefer to be able to not allow enemies to escape so he can humiliate them
Barbarian is such a fun character if you can get the support for it. I wound up doing a run the other day where I got Barbarian + Thimble. That was so fun. Especially couple with Pilgrim. Putting out two 11 Damage attacks a turn was glorious.
Id take hand over hexia any day tbh
My decision making process during run usually makes Hand the easiest final boss, so I find the difference in reactions on seeing him quite hilarious.
I really think that force is THE team if you want to sweat for a winstreak, it juste reliably dish out so much damage

It's pretty rare that I watch and play the same games but this has been a rare exception. There's such an absurd amount of variety and the balance really allows for you to take advantage of that variety. Love this game!
