I personally get the wand and book first to give w that extra oomph plus about 22 on-hit damage from w's passive

For Zed you can just Ult behind you if he ever ults you. Then you look to dodge shurikens right away. But ulting before they even have the chance to get near you is even better. If they have spell shields like Nocturne you can proc it with Q first then Ult and keep kiting.

Can you do a tier list of support
and a tier list of matchup ?
Would also know why you play kraken varus ? do you think on hit is stronger ? AP stronger ? or you just play what u like the most ?
Builds just depend on comp most games, but AP is his strongest build if you're allowed to run it. But yeah Kraken is my favorite mythic for when I do AD. It synergizes well with the PtA playstyle. As for the Tierlists I can maybe make one eventually yeah, not a fan of those myself since theyre never absolute and always changing.
I play this mid but go dark harvest, the pta seems like an odd choice for the one shot capabilities of ap varus since its more of a dps rune. Plus dark harvest makes your autos start hurting like crazy after 20/25 stacks. Thoughts?
Dark Harvest will have a weaker overall laning phase compared to PtA, the goal of PtA is to have proper lane pressure.This specific build isn't about going for the R-WQ one shots like the other AP playstyles, but if you enjoy DH stick to it!
@@EisukeVarus yea thats that response i was expecting, i usually have kill pressure lvl 2 and 3 and then not again until riftmaker. At least without ganks or if theyre bad lmao

@@EisukeVarus I am a bit late to this dscussion i also play it mid and imo hail of blades is really good with the ap build especially for laning since you can apply your 3 blight stacks really fast.
Why press the attack? For better early all in? Wouldn't lethal tempo be better in this? Or hail of blades for early trade and fast kills later to proc. passive?
Yeah just for the lane pressure, LT dmg takes a while longer to ramp up and HoB is quicker but also does less dmg. So I prefer having the dmg amplifier from PtA to burst people down with.
Is Morello not pretty bad to build, since E already applies the same amount of grievous wounds?
E applies the lesser 25% version of it, when you wanna shut down a fed enemy who heals a ton having the higher 40% version of it can help a lot.
what about manamune
Its not needed for this specific build, but you can buy it in lanes where you think you won't be able to get many autos in. If you're confident in your laning you usually dont need to buy it.
when is PTA better than HoB ??
Mainly when you play Lethality tbh, and when there's 1 too many assassins on the enemy team where you won't have time to get your autos out, but I'd still prefer PtA in those cases too, just for the stronger laning phase.
@@EisukeVarus yesss I bring HoB for late game to fight back assassins then early game I just play safely because I think I can not kill the enemy but lack mana to stay in lane later @@
