I was ab to install the new 451 relay and the first wire I cut was the purple ready to rewire and I was curious so i hit the power button and tried the trim and Bam it started to work lol. I’m gonna run it like this until needed
Update: This works but will blow your mpem fuse if you hold the button too long trim up once it stops. The fix for this is to connect everything the same but put the purple wire to hot side of starter relay (where original mpem red wire was). This will fix the blowing main mpem fuse issue and the ski functions just like it did from factory.

Does that apply to the 97 xp as well?
With the fix what did you do with the purple wire?
@@the77eltigre the purple wire goes to the hot side of the starter relay (where original red mpem wire was. This way you won’t blow your mpem fuse.
