I bought the H5’s for about $50 to use on the lawn tractor; noise cancelling works well, acceptable sound in noisy places. If these are better for just a little bit more moola, cool.

Today I almost bought sony XM4, but I saw this mpow H21 review. I end up buying mpow H21, it is value for money, and the value is excellence. Cheap, quality sound, bluetooth 5.0, high battery capacity, rigid...I love it😍
I've had a bit of an Mpow addiction for the last couple of years and totally agree that they have, in a very short time, stepped it up in sound quality/build quality. The newer dual mic version of the ANC they are using (the H12's use the same as these) works good enough. Who cares if it's not as good as Sony or Bose---this is a great VALUE....Give credit where it's due, they are the best low cost bluetooth headphones out right now. You'd do yourself a disservice if you pass these over due to "name brand fever" disease...
FYI, these are in the same price range as the recently refreshed/updated Taotronics Soundsurge 46, which now features USB-C and APTX, of which these have neither. Might be a closer battle than one might think. The Mpow H21 are currently $64 on Amazon after $15 coupon, and the new Soundsurge 46 are $79 after $10 coupon (note: only the gold/white color of the Taotronics on Amazon are the new updated version; if you get the black ones on Amazon, they are the previous version with micro-USB and no APTX). If microphone/call quality matters, these mPow H21 have cVc 6.0 and the new Soundsurge 46 have cVc 8.0, and no, I have no clue what the qualitative difference is between the two.
I have the mpow jaws gen5 and I use them at work religiously. They're good enough that I bought my speakers for two channel listening based on one of your reviews Zeos. The H21"s look like a decent upgrade for work! Great review as always Z!
Like what you did in the review.. really head (phone) banging.. 🤣... Overall, attractive hardcore review.. and nice take on the H21 which I’m eyeing right now..😅👍
Z, two things that I'd love to send you to check out, just hear me out. Plantronics RIG 800HD gaming headset (just trust me, they're actually really nice) and the Razer Phone 1 or 2. The Razer Phone uses Dolby Atmos, and somehow, it actually makes UA-cam and non Atmos content sound wider, Fuller, and more separated (could just be EQ or something but it sounds GODLY)
build quality is excellent, Noise Cancelling is strong…. Maybe even TOO strong… but the ‘hollowness’ of the audio in ANC mode killed it for me. I buy ANC headphones for ANC mode so why would I want headphones that sound WORSE with it on? I sadly had to return it and got an Anker instead.
@@predpalina have you used them for gaming? Because I currently have the h12s and they sound pretty bad for gaming and calls. It sounds empty and doesn’t sound good on games. Everything else great for the price
Hey Zeos, looking for second pair of closed-backs for another PC. Which one you enjoyed the most, these (I could use wireless freedom, but not taking them out), HD280pro, K361 or CM MH751 (already got 1 of those)? Generally speaking, looking for any under $100 with great comfort, warm pleasant sound and solid bass. As a long long time Senn 595 user it's like the MH751 opened a whole new world for my ears (thanks).
The hd280 pro are amazing on passive noise canceling. But the cable is long as fuck. Which might me a plus depending on your pc setup. They last forever.
Thoughts on reviewing Monoprice BT-300ANC or Monoprice BT-500ANC? They are only $35 and $60 respectively and was wondering how they compare for sub $100 bt headphones
Absolutely not. Gaming on PS4 used mixamp gen 2 from eBay for 20£/25$ and cooler master. If you only play single player get hyperx alpha with strong bass and good sound stage for a closed headphone.
