My cat brought kittens to my Ridgeback for babysitting. In fact, she herself was found, brought into the house and raised by my dog, so she completely trusted her foster parent.
Rocky: Okay these puppies are smaller than I thought, but I can teach them to attack the mailman in a few weeks.
Rocky has his reservations about whether he is the father, but has made the decision to raise those babies like his own regardless.

That's the most chill momma cat I've ever seen! Rocky must be a prince for her to trust him with her newborn kittens. Cats don't have that level of trust unless they've had a lot of positive experiences with a dog.

Rocky knew EXACTLY how to act with a new mom and her kittens and you can tell that he and mom are old friends (she wasn't anxious in the least when he was let into the room). He is now an instant big brother and protector.
