Every NT evangelical act and speech to unbelievers centered around evidence. Walking up and once again repeating Christianity's 2000-year-old message while sounding really, really serious isn't going to do squat, particularly among those who know more about Judaism, Christianity and Church history than the average believer. How do your viewers go out and do it? Just repeat a few verses and assume that God's word will not return void while reassuring themselves with Romans 1:18-20? What do they say to convince anyone that they've got a book from God, the real story of mankind and that their ultimate joy in being one with God, if they actually feel that way, is the real deal and all the other religions promising the same thing, and delivering, are really just "Synagogues of Satan"? I've yet to meet a believing Christian who's experienced ultimate joy, delight and ecstasy in an experience with God but I sure hear a lot of church leaders telling Christians that they should, often in the same really, really serious voice used here.
