Good video. Wear did you get the hoses from? I have a 85 glh Omni. Some one before me tried to put a newer turbo in it and butchered all the lines. My EGR tube is also broken. I picked up things I could from the junkyard. Getting harder to find parts.
Reach out to my buddy Steven Seale at Turbododgeparts.com. His number and email are on the website. He has his finger on the pulse of everything turbo Chrysler. Let him know I sent you!
Yo. I have a 88 Daytona Shelby z and I can't really find anything about the turbo lines. The guy I bought it from has lines running Everywhere and it's causing the waste gate to not work right and the turbo pressure gauge to not work it's also causing problems with the fuel pressure. If you could make a video about how to hook them up properly or shot me a message. Much appreciated man
I had a shelby lancer 5 speed. Loved that car. It over heated and lost coolant. I thought I would never find it until I drove it up on a curb and crawled under to look at something....then saw the leak at the turbo return. What a happy moment. Still sad I sold it.
Watching with great interest your work on the Daytona 2.2l Shelby and taking notes. Hopefully I'll be picking up a 2.2l Turbo ll here - if I can find a new job quick before it's sold. Here in Europe, we have these awful mandatory retirement ages. So I have to find a new gig that's less than ful time, then I can grab the car. December of 2023, we'll be Stateside in Charlotte to visit my sister. If I have a car and have a pretty good idea what I need for it, would love to come down and talk parts.
Thanks for watching! I hope you can get your hands on the car, I would imagine you probably see even less of these turbo Chryslers in Europe than in the States! I’m only a few hours from Charlotte, so we could absolutely link up!
This was a really good video. Very nice camera work! From my experience getting monetized, the 1000 subscribers wasn't the hard part, it was the 4000 watch hours that was tough to pull off.
Thanks man!! Trying to get better and better. That’s interesting about the 4,000 hours, makes sense. Both tasks seem to be daunting at the moment. How long did it take you to get there?
Subscribe for more Shelby content!! Really happy with the steady growth of the channel lately, let’s keep it up!
I think you will have a great car when you get her done. I have three Daytona shelby, r/t, and es. I have always loved these cars. Good luck with it!
Thanks man! Always have wanted one of these. Really excited to get it done!
People laugh when I tell them that this is one of my dream cars. Love the content
To each his own! Thanks for watching!

Lines came from turbosunleashed.com there is another website called turbododgeparts.com that has a few parts for these things as well.
Do you have any connections to peeps wanting to sell a 86 daytona turbo z?

There is a video of me re-doing all the vacuum lines you speak of. I think it’s the third or fourth one in the series

They’re a lot of fun, for sure!
I owned an '86 Daytona CS T-roof, 5spd for 10 years. I regret selling it.

Awesome! Agreed, how cool, is it that they were making turbocharged minivans back then? I love this whole era of Chrysler. Thanks for watching!
