A while a ago I repaired 6 dreamcasts all that wouldn't read discs. Everyone one of them were fixed by changing the 3 different types of capacitors on the GD-Rom Board. 10 in total. Love the channel thanks for the content.

So something similar to the GameCube. Do you by chance know the caps you changed?

I have used 4 Dreamcast for 3 different blue stinger discs. Only one Dreamcast can play them. Other systems have never had a problem playing any other games. Have you heard about this at all? I've looked into it a little bit. First run of blue stinger were bad prints. Just odd only 1 out of 4 systems play it. 2 of the 4 are model 1s and the one that plays it is one of the model ones.

I have not heard of this. We might be seeing a problem with caps on the Dreamcast's similar to the GameCube system.
