Congratulations Claire and Kent! What a dream of a place you created. Claire, what a trooper you are! Deepest condolences for the loss of Kent not long after completing the project. But, his vision translated into a fantastic place.
Ruth Watson should be sent to NHS Hospitals and Clinics. If she had investigated the Neonatal unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital at the outset of problems there, infant lives would have been saved!!
It seems Stubton Hall is still under the family's ownership. Sadly, however, it seems that Kent passed away at some point. Their website's About page reads "When my late husband Kent and I first walked up the drive, Stubton looked sad and forlorn."
5 milion..... insane. I dont even know where that area of England is. And no architect? Had thrh gotten an architect, it would have been half the cost and open in half the time. As an American, I'm embarrassed. But this is how some entitled, rich people work in the States.
With over 2 million followers you'd think someone associated with this channel can correct their errors !!! Does anyone know how the place came together after Kent passed ? Did his wife continue with this massive endeavor ?
What has this got to do with California? Americans really do not have a clue. Throw money at it. That doesn’t work. This series is really nowhere near as good as The Hotel Inspector. And Ruth Watson is nowhere near as good as Alex Politzi.

Not only is this absolutely not in California, it's certainly not in America. It's in the English Midlands...
Exactly. Clickbait.
Same thing surely? Think about it, if you had a cow in the midlands, and one in California, it’s still a cow.
Show us the episode that matches the title, please!
There were None made in America to start with ! It is a British programme.

HOW can someone spend millions on a huge project and NOT hire a professional Architect ?????? WTF !
This build should have had a Project Manager. Would have more than paid for his/her salary and relieved a helluva lotta stress from the couple.

@@diymama8657 thx 🤗
Spending 5 million to create a hotel which might take a hundred years to make 5 million in net profits. Not clever.
I see Kent died in 2014. Shame. The stress probably took him out.
Dead animals as decor-horrible.
The rooms seem way over decorated.
A non working kitchen makes no sense.
The ghosts of the old place are possessing them.
Why on earth ?? this is in the UK !!
This is NOT in California
You go girl 👍😉
Did he just ask in an interview if the interviewee smoked? Pretty sure that’s illegal
California High Sierras? Click bait for a weak show.
Typical rich Americans who have no idea how much high standards of the U.K hospitality high end
