I can be such a perfectionist when creating but hearing you say to just have fun creating in that moment resonated a lot. Thank you for sharing your creative ideas! ❤
There’s definitely a bit of perfectionism in us all. I know I’m absolutely guilty of aimlessly searching for it lol! But instead of shooting for perfection, progress has become my ultimate goal. And as long as you’re constantly growing and having fun, it makes it really hard to feel like you’ve lost. Eventually you’ll start to realize all the things that held you back before really never mattered to begin with. Thanks so much for watching, I really appreciate you taking the time. Best of luck on your creative journey!🙏🏾
This is the plugin i wish more than any other being ported to the MPC. It would be sooo cool to have it on the MPC, just for one loop, that would be enough.
Finally someone who enjoys this plugin. This plugin is for ppl who want to step outside their comfort zone and use their creativity and have fun. I bought it like a while ago when it was on discount but every review i saw , was negative and saying its not worth it, which shows that ppl dont want to be creative anymore. Great video tho!
That's crazy you've seen so many negative reviews. I feel like it'd be impossible to hate this plugin lol. There's so much creativity and inspiration within this thing very little effort. This plugin is incredible! Anywho, thank you for watching, I really appreciate it!🙏🏾
@@its.justhenry The reviews were like “yea its fun and stuff, but pretty much useless plugin” or “it doesnt sound good enough for its money”. Tbh for me, I made so many unique drums with it and I never regretted I spent my money on it. What I wanted to highlight is that the fact a lot of upcoming producers get influenced so easily on reviews and they should always go for whatever matches them, not others
Love the video, the vibes and the words you say! Its 5am here, i struggle early for not loving the beat i made and feel sad about, but i watched your video and you make me thinks in 180° turn, even i not like it i need to keep working, posting and enjoying. Thanks, man! Cheers from Brazil! 1+ sub ❤
Thanks so much for checking out my video and the sub, I really appreciate it! So glad you found the video helpful. Definitely keep at it! As creatives, it's easy to get down on ourselves when things are going the way we want or expect, but pushing past those moments of defeat and uncertainty are what will elevate you to the next level. Constantly search for the joy and the love that you first had when you started the journey. I find that helpful to keep the balance of work and fun. Thanks again for tuning in! Much love and success to you on your musical and creative journey!🙏🏾
Thanks Henry, glad I found this video it was quite helpful, to see how you built that... that xln plugin is great and what you did around it was good I thought...youve got talent, and I reckon youve got a tune to work with there, just keep refining!
How does XLN Audio Life know where I want sound to start and stop in my project? Are there drag and drop MIDI files? Can audio files be exported? What specific steps are needed? I'm using Ableton Live 12.1.
They have an editor within the app where you can edit the audio file to your liking. And I haven’t used any midi with it on audio files. I haven’t really done a deep dive with the plugin, I primarily use it for quick ideas to spark some inspiration. I know you can export audio files, just not sure the exact steps. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
Yes it’s a Roland Spd-SX. I use it mainly as a midi controller and I normally use addictive drums and blend together with drums sample from packs I’ve gotten from splice over the years.

Thanks so much man! I think I’ll call this one “Life”…Very original I know😂
Is that the Roland SPD-SX? What sample packs do you prefer for it?

@@its.justhenry Dang. I forgot all about Splice.
