  • Finally found time to hook up the 4 way adjustable wedge to the Built-Rite splitter. What a difference this thing makes.

The auto cycle valve I have is a cross valve. I've looked for them and think they are hard to find now. They have been great so far. No problems....

Where did you get the cylinder attachment?

Why was the 4 way not on the splitter? The model 11 HPWS comes with one. The top nuts come off very easy on mine for switching to the 6 way. That is the best splitter on the market. I have had mine since 2004, thousands of cords through it. You don't even have a chip seperator/table for resplits. Was this chopped up or modified by someone before you? Yes the detent sometimes needs adjusting it should be done after the fluid warms up. Great machine!

The farmer I got the splitter off of said he took off the 4 way and had it in his barn. He had scrapper come pick up stuff in the barn and the guy took the wedge😳...oops! That is why it was only 2k. Yeah not sure why the top plate was so tight but it's perfect now after drilling it out. The splitter was custom made for a conveyor so no seperator grate. I just sold my Harbor Freight splitter, so will get a log lift next for the Built Rite. I have it dialed in pretty good now and just making tons of firewood! It had very little hydraulic fluid in it. I added 8 gallon to it and still could use another 4-6. Love this splitter!

@@woodnyardjunkie That's great! Yeah, the table grate that normally comes with it fits perfectly with the built rite conveyor which I also have. Maybe somebody cut it off to fit with a conveyor with a smaller opening. You will love it with a log lift, besides lifting heavy rounds up to split, it acts like a staging platform.

@@stevepatrick5695 yeah sick of lifting those heavy oak rounds. Yeah staging is what I need, but it's so fast that the rounds will go quick.
