You know you’re committed when you have no interest in building a corner desk but it’s Rochelle and a Sorry Girl video so you watch anyway because how can you not? ❤️
Rochelle is amazing! Both as a carpenter AND as a teacher. Best part about this video is all the info about tools and fasteners and techniques that are so applicable to any project. Thanks Rochelle!
Agree 100%. Not everyone has the ability to teach and it seems natural for Rochelle, and the rest of the team. And as you said including the info about parts andtools. I wish someone had told me the name for hanger bolts before I tried shopping for them years ago, eventually Google told me but not right away. 🙂
SO HELPFUL! She has all the tips! I don't DIY much but the tip about planning where everything goes is something everyone has learnt through mistake, and the workaround is so good too
@@StreetWiseMomSurvivingshe has the perfect voice/mannerism for teaching and explaining. Calm but not monotonous, good pacing, with just the right amount of personality/wit. 👍🏼👍🏼
Rochelle kills it every time. I am especially appreciative of how detailed she is explaining the process to us. I mean, are we ever going to build a corner desk? Probably not, but we could apply what we learn to other builds or projects. So grateful! Tysm.
Omgggg I love the guidance, tips and details in this tutorial! I feel like this is a little more advanced, more of a challenge but Rochelle is really soooo thorough in the steps. I love thiss. More of these Rochelle! Pleaseee 😍💛💛💛
Rochelle is such a gem! Her skills are so advanced yet her communication style is so clear and simple. I’m so so pleased she is on this channel and can’t wait to see what other projects she knocks out of the park!
What a fantastic desk! The addition of the same leg material on the monitor stand makes the whole thing look like a mid-century modern piece that's been around for ages. Great stuff!
Great desk design. I especially like the addition of the turned wood detail on the raised part of the desk! The directions and tool suggestions were very helpful. Love your workshop, Rochelle.
This episode made me fall so in love with Rochelle! What a sweetheart and she’s so talented!!! What a value add she is to the Sorry Girls team!!! Bravo girl! You killed that! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️
The greatest addition to the sorrygirls ever she explains everything so naturally and perfectly and does it all while looking gorgeous and feeling like an old friend I’m so jealous of anyone that gets to call her a friend
Fabulous! A beautiful union of function and form. The desk is gorgeous! Nice work creating the new life for the old legs. And Mom's idea was spot on, it really elevated its style.
I really appreciate how carefully and thoroughly Rochelle explains things. There’s so much in woodworking where instructions just expect you to know what a thing is or how it works. That hanger bolt description was so good, thank you!
The detail and descriptions from Rochelle are just awesome! I really do love her content, and the technical explanations are done in such a way that I actually understand them. The end result is beautiful.
I work for a tool company and I routinely suggest this channel for how-to videos to customers, and this project especially is a great example for people. This is awesome content!
That’s so gorgeous! What an amazing idea to add a vintage touch with the legs to a contemporary corner desk! And yay, Rochelle’s mom for continuing the look on top🎉
Rochelle, you are brilliant. Your knowledge of tools is amazing. You have such a logical thought process and you explain everything so well. The desk looks incredible, as do all the other pieces you’ve made in the past. You are so motivating and inspirational. Thank you for making such a delightful video x
Rochelle is literally a baddy! She makes things I couldn't even dream possible. When she makes things they always look like she went and bought them! I think she was a really awesome addition to the sorry girls team! ❤
Waait did you guys read my mind?? I was literally planing on adding a corner desk in my bedroom, but I wanted to make one. The only reason I thought I'd be able to make one is because of the inspiration y'all give me and videos you guys make and now we have an actual TUTORIAL!! That is insaneee
It's beautiful! And practical. The stain works so well, everything looks like it was made to go together. And I finally learned what hanger bolts are and how to use them (two ways!). Thank you Rochelle for the step-by-step. You're an excellent teacher. And your DIY creations are professional level!
WOW!!!! Great video, Rochelle. You are amazingly talented and so good at explaining why you're doing what you're doing. I'm sure he will be SO impressed and happy with it! YOU ROCK!!
Love this vid!!! I learned so much!! Some thoughts on the topcoat- Is that a water based seal? Because I think oil based ones won't work with the sponge. The desk might benefit from several top coats since it's a heavily used surface, especially since water-based costs go on thin. Let me know if I sound accurate y'all!!!
Love your creative process, your willingness to just go with the flow, making changes as needed. I really enjoy watching your videos. Learning so much!😊
Rochelle, great job. Executing someone else's vision correctly is a feat of both intelligence and understanding, added to your own innate skills this project shows you are really talented. God bless you 🏆🥇💖✝
I appreciate all of the terminology used in terms of the bolts and parts used in making the removable legs, if I ever get to build a desk or table like that I saved the video for reference. Thanks!
I am pretty darn invested in the Sorry girls!! You ladies are phenomenal. That being said....I just wanted to say Safety First. I might recommend clamping the table legs when drilling holes for the dowels. I just kept thinking 'she could really mess her hand up if there were any slips. Sorry, Sorry girls...the mom in me was so worried. 😅
You know you’re committed when you have no interest in building a corner desk but it’s Rochelle and a Sorry Girl video so you watch anyway because how can you not? ❤️
Way to go, Rochelle!!
I will watch Rochelle build literally anything!
So true 😂
I had no interest before, but now I want a corner desk.😂
WE NEED A TOUR OF ROCHELLE'S WORKSHOP GURLLLL
And we need to meet her mom because.. !
@@thatone5557 I think she was in a video once but blurred out, i think the one where rochelle made a fireplace and credenza for the office?
@@amaiaamaiaa yes, she was there, I don't remember her being blurred out though.
@@audreym3908 me neither but I went back to the video today and she was, at least for the short clip I saw while skimming through the vid
Second the request for Rochelle workshop tour!
Rochelle is not only so good at making things, she is also soooo good at explaining what she is doing and WHY! 😍
Mom's idea really pulled it together. I URGE you to have Her as a guest on the show!

"I probably should be wearing gloves, but we're in it now, aren't we" is the theme of every DIY I've done 😅
I love Rochelle videos!
Rochelle is simply amazing.
Thank you for bringing her to the team!
Absolutely gorgeous work. And your mom’s idea to use leftovers from the original legs high-key genius.
