Harmony??? 😶 Chris made him look & SOUND so horrible. Loved this song. Used to love this band & just goes to prove that everyone should have term limits. EVERYONE.
It's not like anyone back-stabbed Brett S... the dude was "out" for the season, and then some. Bottom Line: "Fuel" is Carl Bell. Everyone else is replaceable. Bummer.
How friggin cool is that? The guy that Fuel tried to get to be their lead singer replacement makes a surprise guest appearance…as a lead singer. Great stuff.
Chris is such a genuine, down to earth guy, and has come to be admired and respected throughout the music community. I get goosebumps seeing him realize his dreams like this. What a thrill this must have been, he must have been pinching himself. Much love to him and his beautiful family.
Yeah so strange. But cool. Thinking Chris could have taken this gig. His performance of this on Idol was beautiful. But it was Brett's and Fuels song. And Daughtry slayed with their first album. Respect for these guys. Thank you!💚🤘
@@Barkingspider the amount of people speaking out of pure nostalgia or a desire to sound like an "old soul" is hilarious 🙄 every single decade has shitty and great music. 50+ years later of course we mainly remember the greats, but they had just as much crap mixed in then as we do now.
It's odd to think that the man who could have replaced Brett is singing with him on the same stage? Then again, I wouldn't suspect him having anything against Chris because he went on to start his own band, so yeah.
Chrisgodoflard the founder or co- founder of Fuel Carl asked him to come sing with Fuel after Torny was let go or left which he declined. Scallions asked Daughtry to join him on stage after he KILLED it on American Idol singing Hemorrhage. i think it sounded good together. you??
+BobCheryl Rice, the rumor is toryn left, started his own band because carl bell owed him money. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. That's only what I either heard or read. Toryn's got another band now called emphatic
I'm not meaning it like that but good on him for knocking it back because it allowed him to build his career from scratch and become incredibly successful.
I only like Chris Daughtry's version/cover of this song. I would love if there was a studio version of it and Daughtry > Fuel. That's why he turned down the offer to be their lead singer! Love you Chris! You or Katharine should've won American Idol Season 5! Keep rocking Chris! Love your music! :)
Jim Wolverton Daughtry is WAY BETTER than fuel, if Chris hadn't covered fuel's song in A.I., half of people wouldn't know this song. And Chris Daughtry has better vocals.
Obviously Rafael Seiji, you are either too young to remember Fuel or you didn't listen to rock music from 1997-2003 when Fuel was all over modern rock radio. This was a monster hit for Fuel in 2001, where everyone knows the song from.
Rafisckin / Rafa-El?????? Unless you were born in 2004, you know who Fuel is. Big 90s band. Chris Daughtry may have introduced them to the younger generation, but there is no comparison to be made there.
Chris KILLED it & it's sad to EVEN think the band ejected him to bring the original, now sub-par, zero ranged dude back to their mediocre state. 😖😭 Just because you can, doesn't mean YOU SHOULD. They had a chance to redeem themselves.. So sad to see this to CONTINUALLY happen to all of our NOW has-been bands who we loved!
Awesome! I got a bald head and a voice I would love to be known as Dog and not Sexy Daughtry. Whatever they meant had to be recognition of my former baby sitter now my wife, out of respect lol.
Lol listen to the actual studio recording. Brett was singing the harmony vocals. Exactly what Carl sang live when they played it. Go listen to the Leno live version of Hemorrhage, it's friggin awesome. ua-cam.com/video/xATyysG8rAs/v-deo.html
Chris is great no matter who he sings with. Brett must have had a lot of respect for him in order to invite him to sing with him onstage.
To bring on the guy that the rest of the band tried to replace him with... and then sing harmony with him? So much respect!!
I second, third, and fourth this. Stunning stunning performance.

You make me want to puke with that banter.
@@Physics072 you sure about that?
Daughtry is simply... amazing.
This video still gives me chills!

Great version of this song! Awesome!
Would have been funny and cool if they switched between Hemorrhage and Its Not Over lol
I would love to see them do this again live and professional recorded but a moment like this is priceless
this is when music meant something
Jacob Chandler lol, fuel was a great band, but what the fuck are you talking about? Music meant something in the 60's and 70's.

Love the harmony on the chorus !!!
Brett and Chris awesome!!
LiVE influenced Fuels sound :)
I love this music scene from the Penn, USA area
Live..greatest band ever.

This is awesome! Thanks for sharing 🖤🎶🎤
That drummer is awesome. Great upload. Very enjoyable.
phosphodiesterase That is Ken Schalk who unfortunately has left fuel now ... he is one of a kind
He used to play in Candiria for a long time.
Yes this drummer rocks❤
Great to see them performing again!
I'm not meaning it like that but good on him for knocking it back because it allowed him to build his career from scratch and become incredibly successful.
I bet you daughtry was so pumped to sing with fuels actual singer had to be so surreal.
This is awesome
Chris' mic wasn't loud enough :( can't ask for everything though. Fantastic videoooo!
100% agree!
Fuel need to make another album!

What an awesome performance. CD is such a natural fit for FUEL. The new line up is absolute BS. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Would been nice to hear them sing instead of the crowd
Right, not interested in the annoying crowd
fukin Awesome bro
thumbs up to the guy with the alabama hat right there! haha
Won’t see that again. Fuel. Daughtry. Brad Stewart and jasin todd from shinedown playing in one song.
That's not Jasin Todd
Who is the Charlie Brown clone in the front row?
I remember the AI episode when Chris D performed it and blew the roof off
No way he could’ve replaced fuel lead singer. Chris is good but he can’t replace tht voice
like
massa em
such stage presence.... is there a rock cliché that they missed? Nonetheless it is a great combo. Thanks!
Hit it, baldie!
Chris had his own band. Why be the frontman of Fuel? With how he's done, he didn't need Fuel to back him.
Err, umm, that does NOT look like Carl Bell and the original Fuel lineup, eh wot?
Yeah where was this cause i see a crimson tide cap.roll tide!
That bass player plays for Saliva now I believe!
Yea. He was from shinedown and so was Jason Todd the guitarist in this video.
sounds good...but why the f are they wearing skinny jeans.....
Daughtry looked like a kid...
is that Josh Freese on drums?
the drummer is I. my name is Ken Schalk
ken Schalk
wow, congrats man, I'm jealous.
empirikal09 ken Schalk His name is Robert Paulson...
ken Schalk omg its actually you saw your video your a good drummer.

Fuel and Daughtry are both good in their own way. Why must we compare whose better??

He keeps obstructing the view, though.
cnt believe tht chris draughtry once turned down the offer to be the lead singer of this band... L
Lead singer's voice is shot.
It's not shot, Brett had surgery for a deviated septum years ago. It changes the way you sound.
@@panemanager No. It was shot before the alleged surgery

Bret sounded way out of tune.
