- Using totally awesome cleaner. cleaning seats with totally awesome, this is my honest review, I am in no way sponsored or being payed by this product. I sprayed on the product on my seat and use a scrubber to remove the stains, all dirty material was removed with a shop vac. These are the final results of totally awesome review.

I just started using it this year and it is now a staple. Already on my second bottle
For the best results with this:
• Get a bucket of water
• Your scrubbing brush
• A Vaccuum that can suck water
• A microfiber towel
-----------------
• Spray a mild amount of L.A's Totally awesome
• Scrub the area(s) pretty hard with your brush
• Suck up what you've just scrubbed with your Vaccuum ( so when you wipe it you don't just smear what you cleaned back into the seat )
• Finish it off by wiping it with the microfiber towel to pick up any remaining dirt

get tips I actually can seperate the cloth from the thick foam cushion so I was wondering if I could use anything to deep clean that large foam cushion?? any suggestions??
kwazykilla87 nothing too aggressive I don't suggest anything with scrubbing or too strong a vacuum so I'm thinking like all purpose cleaner and wipe it up honestly I wouldn't go anymore aggressive
kwazykilla87 Oh and if you get an all purpose cleaner chances are you're gonna wanna dilute it like 1-10 but ofcourse that depends on what you get but when I detail cars(usually I don't take that apart but have a couple times) the professional cleaners like meguiars apc is only like 23 bucks a gallon on amazon but dilute it 1 part cleaner 4 parts water for heavy heavy stains on carpet or something and then part cleaner 10 parts water for what you're wanting and then wipe it up gently (ish) with a microfiber rag or whatever you prefer,I'm sure you can get that all purpose cleaner in a bottle and less expensive but I'm not sure how much you plan to use so you can look and determine for your situation,hope this helps, good luck!

As dirty your seat was, I think it did a superb job. If it were me, I would let it dry completely then go over stains that were left and blot it out, rinse with water and blot it out immediately. I have used this on horrible coffee stains on my carpet, using this procedure, after 3 times, every single stain was removed. This is the best cleaner I've ever used, even after paying $59.00 for a commercial coffee stain remover. I clean everything in my house with it. It works perfect spraying on your shower walls, all the dirt and grime starts running down walls. All I do is rinse it with clean no. No scrubbing necessary.
I use this on carpets and upholstery with a steam extractor. I spray it on, let it sit for 15 mins. Then use clear water in the machine to extract it. I mix 2/3 Awesome, with 1/3 water in a spray bottle. It works great!
Awesome product is one of the best all around cleaners HOWEVER....be VERY CAREFUL using it on carpets in your home!! I didn't do a spot check for colorfastness and I now have almost white spots on my rugs everywhere I used it! Also many times you can dilute up to 50% and it's still very effective. It says clearly on the bottle that its concentrated. Awesome has come out with the powered oxi cleaner--mix the powder in a cup with hot water until dissolved. This is all pretty obvious stuff but just thought I'd share for new users.
My grandmother has been using that stuff for AGES, it really does clean deep no matter what you use it on. I've never used it on cloth seats but it's great for household cleaning. I'll have to use this for my car
I wanted to comment because I use this product all the time. When you spray this on your seats or on carpet and work it in, while it is still damp lay a white towel over the damp area and lightly press down so that the town starts to absorb the stains. It will shock you with what it pulls out. It is good to use a mop with a microfiber rag on the end of it or you can steam cleaner such as the shark. You will be amazed at what comes out of your carpet. It may make you never want to have carpeting in your home again. I swear by this product and I use this product nearly every day for something or another. I don't know of another product that even comes close for$1.00 .
Yes, it was driving me crazy that he wasn’t blotting. If a product pulls dirt out of something you still have to blot it away...it doesn’t disappear into thin air. I usually lay several towels down and either sit on it or lay something heavy on top so it will squeeze it up into the towel.
Diluting it with water keeps the odor down, and the water helps emulsify the stain which helps remove it. Using it straight isn't advised. If you had gone back over it with just water, it would have mixed with remaining solution l and cleaned the rest of it nicely. ALWAYS DILUTE - the water has a purpose.

Yup, I mixed it 10 to 1 with water and then followed it up with straight water. No more seat stains.

There's a guy in Texas and a guy in California selling this stuff for $20 per bottle at truck stops. I was really pissed when i walked into dollar tree a year later and found it for $1 It works great, but now i kind of want to hunt those guys down and report them to the company for reselling their product.

This is a very effective general purpose cleaner.
Has dilution rates for different types of cleaning on bottle.
Great for carpets and auto detailing.
Wear gloves when used at full strength.
I removed the seats from my old Ford Ranger and used Totally Awesome and my pressure washer. I let the seats dry in the garage for a week and then reinstalled them. They look great!
I mix this with 4 parts water and 1/3cup of sugar then garnish a pineapple wedge on the rim of the glass and it's so delishious.
Me and my uncle cleaned my moms car once in the interior and we where able to get a lot of stains out with the bottle your holding right now, i was surprised to see that just with some scrubbing and spraying that the car smelled fresher and the fabric in the car looked better , for me i do highly recommend this brand and i too live in the L.A. area so i know they sell them at your local dollar store
I recently bought a 1998 Toyota 4runner and oh my god that cleaner is amazing!!! I sprayed that and let it soak for a while and then with a brush I went in and scrubbed all the small areas in the cup holders and all that and it got all the dirt and even a dried out candy bar it works wonders and for only $1 at my local dollar store definitely a steal!! Works well on clothes as well😉
I've used that stuff before and still do from time to time.
As long as you let it sit long enough but not dry out it will cut grease pretty good....
your trucks going to smell better now, I love the smell of my car after I shampoo and it dries out, for a plus burn some incense

I think it worked well. The only reason why it did not look better is because the fabric from your seat is like mesh, so it was very absorbent. I difference was still clear. Thanks for the video.
with that type of product you need to use warm water in a bucket and a white wash towel and scrub it with that towel and it comes out more I did it to my car and it was worse than your and they look as new

Also I used this product for oil spots on the drive way,it works really good, sprayed over the spot and rinsed with water and boomb,the oil is completely gone.
I use this stuff for all car and household cleaner. it is great and it is concentrated and should be diluted for upholstery and carpet. Use it as an engine degreaser works awsom and for $ 1.25 Canadian at the dollar store.

I get the LAs Awesome bathroom cleaner at the dollar store and its actually one of the better grease cutters on the market. I use it in the kichen more often than the bathroom. The stuff really does work.
On the bottle it says "one part of awesome to ten part water for this job"
That's what I was going to comment. You have to dilute this cleaner. It has the dilution table on the side of the bottle.
That brush is wayyyyyy too stiff for upholstery. It's just going to smear the stain Use a small paint brush with the bristles cut to half the length and just lightly agitate the stain. It'll come right out.

I found out about this product a couple of years ago by accident, it's absolutely the best product on the market right now. Most of the time it's sold out, but when it isn't I'll buy them out.
I first learned about "AWESOME CLEANER" from a woman who owns a Thrift Store, who told me she bought clothes at Yard Sales and it would take out almost any set stain so the clothes were good as new. I have used it for everything since and love it. Also, a MR CLEAN MAGIC ERASURE works great.
I removed car seats in my car before selling. Underneath was dried food, vomit, And who knows what else.
The dollar store awesome cleaner with a $1 plastic brush cleaned it right up. Amazing
Great stuff. Especially if using full strength as I did, make sure to ventilate area and use gloves/eyewear. There is an obvious pungent or caustic odor that's irritating, so do the smart thing. Stubborn carpet stains in heavy traffic areas lifted of in two minutes of dabbing (no scrubbing whatsoever) with a damp microfiber cloth. Two thumbs ^Up, way Up!
As an auto detailer you're not supposed to soak the seat it just brings more dirt up from the inside of the seat

What I do for carpets mainly is I'll spray totally awesome on the carpet and then spray some tuff stuff on top of that and it works double time and it gets up most stains scrub a little and then wipe down with towel if you chose too then I go over with vacuum and works really together.. been doing it for years now
I used this but in the gallon and just poured it let it soak and power washed it out my car seats look brand new
I am a big LA Awesome fan but on fabric car upholstery I recommend trying Tuff Stuff, it comes in a large aerosol spray can at Walmart & many other places; I think a can is under $4. I've seen it work miracles on carpet stains and various fabrics that can't be washed like a purse or shoes.
Why is thr LA Awesome to harsh to use on fabric car upholstery? I've never had a problem with it. I would never use it to clean my dashboard tho. It ruined mine. It's too strong
@@fleas.8624 No, it's not too strong, I just had a little better luck with Tuff stuff and it doesn't get the fabric as wet.
The McCullough steam cleaner is all you'll ever need for cleaning anything in home or auto using no chemicals. All the auto detailers use it. I have one of course. Will vaporize grime like magic.
I use Awesome for cleaning the bathroom,kitchen,floors. I even used it in carpet steam cleaner,for the tuff spot on my rugs I spray full strength,leave on rug for twenty minutes and rinse with hot water in steam cleaner the spot is gone. For a couple of bucks it great.

Have you tried using a thin paste of mixed baking soda with water? I use baking soda all the time in my laundry and it makes the clothes come out brighter. It would be cool to see what it could do for a car seat. 😉
Where do you put the baking soda? Like in the tub before the cycle as you would oxickean?
..this Awesome is good for cutting grease on kitchen cabinets, hood range, sink tops and wooden blinds. Great stuff.
We use Awesome all over our home, great oon carpets; we get ours at .99 cent store or Dollar Tree!!
If you are going to spray any cleaning product on to a fabric upholstery you need to use a vaccum that can vaccum that chemical out of your upholstery. Otherwise you will have the chemical left behind on to the fabric which usually becomes sticky and dirt sticks on to it making the fabric dirty in a very short period of time.
They sell it at the dollar store near my house best dollar I've ever spent. He's wrong it doesn't have a strong owner that's the smell of his dirty seats and old fart dust.
i used awesome, pulled out all my seats front and back poured a gallon on to them then scrubbed then hit it with the hose ans presto change-o...the smell are gone and all dirt and stain gone..best stuff i have ever used.

Used it before to clean a dirty engine as well, I use it for grease stains in clothes, to mop with, everything. I clean houses as a side job and it’s my main thing to use other than windex. And magic eraser!

I tried LA Awesome and it took to long to clean and I switched to SuperClean and it worked 100 times better!

Great tips...remember tho always wear rubber gloves, or your hands will dry out as they will also be de greased...brushing activates it better too eh?
Totally awesome is a fantastic product. I’ve been using it for several years. The problem here is this guy knows nothing about reading directions, and that cleaners like these do not magically remove stains by spraying it on and scrubbing. He used almost the whole bottle on one seat. A full large size (which is what he has) is enough to do about 3 car interiors when diluted properly.
The one thing he also fails to do is RINSE the material with water and several absorbent cloths.
Lastly after it dries completely, it must be vacuumed.
I’m surprised he didn’t actually dissolve the seat fabric or severely damage it.
Just an example of someone not knowing what they are doing.
I use this all the time to get out leaf stains off my white paint on my cars ,and if they don't come out I use Awesome bathroom cleaner,it takes off rust stains to,great product, and it's only a buck !

I think it looks a lot better! I'm going to try on my 2012 Ford Feista tomorrow. I saw the cleaner on youtube from another guy and i was in the dollar store today and saw it . But I haven't seen it done on my kind of seat so hope it goes well. Yours look better and I'm hopeful. My seats stain with water. You a cold cup of water on them that sweats and they stain. They're staind from more than that but, We'll see.

It's best to let it sit for a while. Then clean with soap n water. I've had great results like than and u can use this product on everything expt glass and leather. Read label for exclusions. I use full strength or 1/4 water
Used at full strength, this stuff cuts through everything. Give it a few minutes to do its work and pow! Its dissolved.Work in well ventilated area, though, it will also dissolve your lungs.

Don't scrub it spray it on let it soak into it damp it with a towel if you need to repeat again and yes the awesome spray has a really powerful smell to it

I use windex and scrap with a ice scraper then vacuum up. After i dround in febreese. Works great for me. Especially if you have kids gets that destroy your back seat lol. Or you can not let them eat in the car

It came out okay, but I think it would have come out so much better if you let the product sit for a while before scrubbing. You have to give the product time to penetrate the material, and release the dirt.
Just wanted to point out--- it's meant to be diluted.

For what it does, you could have just mixed hot water and your dish soap. Do clean the same without the harsh chimerical smell. Notice, the heavy stains spot in the back center of your car seat dose not clean out well, so you hide it by placing the bottle over it. LOL Nice try bro. Thanks for sharing though.

I think this product work well but better with hot water ans I think the brush is a bit too harsh,sounds like u making music,but with an extractor u are lock and loaded,with some baking soda it helps in stinky vehicles..good job btw
Never scrub your car seats if they're fabric the brush could rip and tear at the seats and it can mess up the chair

I have a similar experience. Red stain from cat vomit. Folex didn't touch it. LAs Totally Awesome didn't get it all out, but it's miles better.

No. I just purchased the spray at dollar tree and went to the car wash. i used my scrubbing brush and scrubbed and then it vacuumed off pretty good
Why would you think that a product sold for $1.00 would be a "miracle worker" if you use it straight it will leave all the residue on the seats. As soon as you drop any liquids on the seats the product is going to have a reaction.
