The end is the best! I had noticed that about Dan's stage voice before(especially the speech he does before Came Out Swinging) but never understood why he did it that way. Well, now I know.
yeah! Evan actually recorded a cover of Don't Let Me Cave In where he changes those lyrics to "I spent last night singing sad songs with Daniel/At New year's Eve in Philly" :)
I'm noticing a lot of Evan hate from people who probably have never heard of him. Evan is honestly one of the hardest working people in the emocore scene. He's basically like every band in chicago's uncle. He helps everybody out, and his producing is top notch (listen to "Everything" by Annabel) . He is a fookin incredible guitar player and he uses so many different interesting chord structures. There is literally no other emocore band that is as smart as he is musically. You're probably a Wonder Years fan, so just for perspective every single Wonder Year's song is just power chord power chord power chord (it's not bad, it's just unoriginal). I have never heard Evan use a powerchord once in any of his songs (they 're all over the place in terms of key). So he may seem like he sucks, but I can assure you he puts more work and care into his music than any of the guys from The Wonder Years Combined. Check him out before you spew nonsense.
Whether what you say is true or not all I'm saying is he gets kind of abrasive in the interview. Seems to take soupy off guard. I mean he probably didn't mean to act like that, but at the same time it happens more than once

Frank Duffy I mean, they've been good friends for a while. I feel like he's just prodding for fun. He's close to a lot of people in the emocore scene, in a lot of cases he's almost like their older brother. It's almost as if Evan's saying "You made it, but don't forget where you came from."
+Lukas Gerlach Evan is so awesome dude. Funny story. So I knew OF Evan Weiss and heard his TWY cover but I didn't know what he looked like. I randomly saw his band Pet Symmetry (not knowing it was his band) and then after the show we were talking and he was so chill. I bought his album and made him open it for me and then after I left the show I realized who he was and I was so bummed I didn't talk to him more. ANYWAY he's cool and I didn't even know who he was when I met him initially LOL
These two need a podcast
What I wouldn't give for a Dan Campbell/Evan Weiss collab band.
can we just take a moment to watch this with the captions on it's gold
I`ve seen this before but I just got into Into It Over It and I appreciate this so much more now
this is the greatest interview of all time
I stand like that too!!! My family always used to yell at me for it so I stopped until I moved out like 6 years ago and the habit returned.
Pretty sure that baggage handler tweet was me...
About damn time this came out!!! I remember AP giving a teaser of this. Two of my favorite lyricists.

I never actually realized Soupy's stage voice before...but it's so true lmao, he does do that.
This is the interview of all interviews
This is literally the best.
I love Evan's laugh
The casual observer may be thinking that Evan is very tall, but as it turns out Soupy is just incredibly short.
NEED MORE OF THIS!!!!!
this makes me happy
I completely forgot about Earth Crisis until this. Such a good band
Could not stop smiling
Soupy should start a podcast

The frame cutting off Evans head is driving me insane.

for what it's worth, his brenham tx song is mostly power chords
Is Evan really that tall?
literally not at all. Dan is like 5’4”
soupy's pretty short, maybe like 5'6?
haha Dan was talking about United being shit!
Wow that is really annoying they can't respect the fragile stickers....If your job is to handle other people's stuff, learn to not wreck it.
Useless air
