Good question! Unlike cattle sorting and penning events, the cattle here are not wearing any numbers so the riders are not required to cut specific animals out of the herd.
I agree, but I have no control over what people do around my camera while recording a public event. We are subjected to what any other spectators have to put up with from those around them.
Because of this reason I don't watch cutting horse shows anymore....I came here ( since a long time) coz maybe they already put a halt on that annoying screaming :( My heart still lays with the cutting and w.cowhorses tho T.T P.s: I saw it through and the yay's weren't that bad here, haha no adience
Nice footage. Could've done without the whooping (I know it's not your doing). No one cheers when I do my job why scream when the horse does theirs. Had to mute my tv to enjoy and I did thoroughly
It is to keep that steer moving as much as possible so the horse has to work harder to keep it from joining the herd. Making noise is the only option when you are not right there with them.
This is one of the futurity events where most if not all the horses are being put up for sale. No fake tails, just a sleeve to protect the tails from being soiled with dung before the horses perform. The owners want them to look their best!
So nice to see the cutting exhibition like this on UA-cam. God bless.
That is some CRAZY good cutting! They do it right in West Texas. Headed there, myself, for the '24 futurity! Just amazing riders and horses!
Right on!
I made some good contacts during this week of events. There will be more videos with folks who own and train cutting horses coming up in the future.
At 13:00 rules. Good job!
Thanks for posting these events.
Yall complaining bout hollerin but thats how a show goes. City slickers
It is always easy to tell who knows a lot about nothing when they start flapping their lips.
I just came across your video and my question is, does the rider have specific cows or steers that they have to cut from the herd?

@@DustyReinsStories okay thank you

Announced after 8:53 and again at 14:22 the latter is harder to hear I know.
@@DustyReinsStories did anybody ever figure it out I was looking at him too that thing was intense
The screaming in the background is very distracting!

YES VERY I AGREE!!!!!! I didn’t really like the people you kept going WOOO over and over again it was very distracting
I think it does go to show how much training the horses have to be able to cut that noise out though!
AWSOME
I’m new. What’s the guy on the white fence doing
I thought the guy was supposed to cut the steer out himself
He is one of the judges.
this is great
I showed cutting way back in the day. Nice video, but the hollering was REALLY unnerving. Shut up already!!
They should rip the vocal cords out of the people yelling!!!!!!!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Those are children 💀
@@SpiderXtra7 doesn’t matter. They should shut up😂
So annoying
what do they call this?
cutting horse, not many people will know this
better than soccer
Have you seen the mounted soccer videos on this channel?
Nice footage. Could've done without the whooping (I know it's not your doing). No one cheers when I do my job why scream when the horse does theirs. Had to mute my tv to enjoy and I did thoroughly
Agree. Metallic Cat was sensational - but could have done without the relentless autistic screeching. Shut UP lady. Jebus.
Annoying as all hell
Thank you !! I hate that why do they do that ?
@@shoegirl8186 To get excitement up
@@NuggieIsMissing really though lol 😂 everyone there always is like meh when we hear it haha
Ok yay
Those kids are having a grand time in the back! Unsure why others find it annoying.
Why the heck are they screaming like that ? 😂 they ain’t riding

The whooping was irritating as hell!
People do you want to eat grass or do you want to eat meat he’s a hard-working people by cattle eat meat
that screaming is so annoying had to mute it
The kids are really distracting

That poor heffer legit, man the stress on them animals for fun. The screaming in the background how annoying
Goddamn children always screaming... good video tho
Nice work… but if that was his wife whooping he’s probably seeing a lawyer for a divorce. They ruin the sport of cutting!
What? Is that horse wearing a fake tail like in western pleasure???? Hope it hasn't come to that!

Snooze fest 😴 🥱
What's the yelling in the background about
It keeps he cattle moving so the horse has something to work with.
@@DustyReinsStories cheers!
