Great Old Film. Allis Chalmers was cutting edge for there time, it is truely a shame that they and others didn’t make it through the 80’s in one piece. I am always amazed at the video gems you bring to us. Thanks for sharing your videos. I really appreciate the look back at history.

I love these old videos, goes to show how much engineering went into developing these products. It’s really amazing to see these technologies develop into mainstream manufacturing.

How do you get the old films into a video? I’ve done some old Ford slide shows and now have the opportunity to get ahold of some Ford films that I would like to get put into videos and uploaded to UA-cam. I see you guys have done several so figured you had figured out a good way to do it. Thanks!

We're pretty low tech. We just set up a projector and screen, plug the audio into our camera and film it while it plays on the screen

@@JandLVideos I like low tech!! That’s pretty much what I was thinking about doing. I’ll give it a try when I get a chance. Thanks!

Being that it was 1947 the men must still be overseas maintaining peace. No offense to the women in the film. Just noticed that there were a lot of them. The test with the steel wheels on that bumping machine was grueling. I wonder if they do that today? Thanks J and L.
