Merry Christmas!! I had a question pop up during the video. Why did AC not pursue the All Crop harvester for their large SP machines? Did the rubber rub bar cylinder not hold up to the demands of the acreage the combines would cover, say.... out west?
They did, they built the model 100 self propelled combine based on the All Crop. Just as it came out AC bought Gleaner and focused on that line for SP combines.
@ikonseesmrno7300 for pull types it worked. But I've talked to plenty of operators at the Orange Spectacular who've said the Model T Gleaner (which allis discontinued when they bought them) was far better than the all crop 100 which they kept building for that size slot.
most of of tractor 🚜 😊 equipment then years ago was flat belt U put a flat belt on what U was going 2 pull and the other end of the belt went on the tractor 🚜 😊 belt pulley U tighten the belt and chalked the back tractor wheel then put tractor PTO in gear and let the clucth out and bring the equipment up 2 speed then go 2 work 😊😊 OMG 7 4 2O24
theres a difference between 😊😊 dry tractor weight and field weight 4 tractors when U add weights 2 the front and back wheels 4 more pulling power if U still need more weight U can put antifreeze in the tires thats wet field weight 😊😊 OMG 7 4 2O24
Merry Christmas everyone

Merry Christmas! Buying Gleaner was definitely the smart move.
@@JandLVideos So, the All Crop design was better off on a small scale?

@@JandLVideos Thanks for the history, that's just what I was looking for. How long did the pull type All Crop stick around after the Gleaner purchase?
