Great review Alex, comprehensive as usual.
Very impressive little boat too. Plenty to like about it, although the wipers looked rather comical in the corporate video cut away!

Thanks Nic. These show tours always seem to include an element of the comical!

Nice, but the cooking option is a bit underwhelming. Very well finished

The cooking facilities are admittedly limited. But given the space restraints, I'd definitely take underwhelming over non-existent!

No way this can do 50 knots!?

Wish some of these EU boats where made in the USA. Rediculous price to get ANY of them to the USA. You're talking almost 100K just to get it here.

You had me until you broke out the stove under the seat, I think there are better options than that. What about trying to use it and the mess made on the copilot seat. Not for me. I like the boat, loose the sink and stove.

I was VERY excited to see this boat review but was, once again, disappointed. Who are these boat manufacturers catering to?
EVERY TIME I see a boat like this, I ask myself WHY the bow has to have seating. If there was NO seating, and the superstructure height from the windshield continued forward to the chain locker, the amount of cabin space would be IMMENSE. A QUEEN SIZED BIRTH AND SHOWER could all fit in there, and you could STILL have a sun pad (because who actually uses the forward deck while under way at 50kn?).
In my opinion, this is lost potential in both sales and clientele for so many boat builders these days. I'm 6'2" 275lbs. My wife is 5'10" and 180. A boat this size is impractical for anything but a medium lake for a few hours, but anything that "fits" us costs 7 figures. For very little money or effort, boat builders could modify their existing boats to entice a much larger customer base.

I can so relate to your views on sizes. They aren’t designed for or by us, they are designed by accountants.
I have a Beneteau ST34 and it has standing headroom everywhere 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. The only negative is the speed. Cruise at 7 knots 10 litres an hour, double it to 15 knots (‘scuse my maths) and it’s 66 litres per hour. We have an 18’ centre console for speed, 25 knot cruise ad 28 litres per hour. But I still can’t find the perfect combination. This mish mash we’ve just seen won’t make the short list either…
Edited: and forgive me while I’m gently railing against the designers. Why so many sunbathing pads? We don’t all have teenage daughters and their friends to satisfy. Most of us, want to go to the restaurant or the bay and drink wine and beer and enjoy good company.
