I use roomali roti to make the same thing. Filling you can make of your choice. Spread 1 beaten egg all over the roomali but push most of it to the middle. This way the filling is covered with the egg and the sides will stick too. Fir the filling I spread cooked mince, fresh chopped onions, and green coriander. Then close the roti to look like an envelope. Then cook lightly and keep aside. You can reheat at iftar or serving time. Or you can freeze lightly cooked ones with a layer of aluminium foil or plastic sheets. Cooking lightly and then frying them at meal time saves time. I recommend frying in ghee. The taste is much better but u can slways cook with minimum oil. It will still taste great.
