    Aside from the incredible beach treasures, I love how you always mention the Lord and how thankful you are. Without realizing it you are influencing others and this crazy world we live in sure needs more of that. Thanks for your contributions to healing the negative. I for one appreciate you two greatly! Hope you are richly blessed every day. Happy shelling!

    You are really good Stewarts for your area. I love to see all the adventures you go on. It is so sweet to see how much you care about your family, and each other. Love it when Oliver cuts up and kids and Stuffney is such a good sport. How did you met and how long have you been together? Hope you'll be together for ever and ever Amen!

      We've known each other since we were kids. It wasn't love at first sight though but now we're happy as can be expected. We hope to share many more years together.

    This video will be my reward this evening when I go in from working today. I want to thank Stef and Oliver for sharing the footage of the Ocean, marsh and all the places they go. I’ve not seen the ocean in over 30 years now. To me it’s a special place where land meets sea. Even on my most stressful days it always makes me feel better and smile to see the places and hear the sounds of gulls, the waves coming in. The ocean is the first place I intend on going when time and family’s health allow me a chance to get there. Two thumbs up and a huge thank you to SALTY REFLECTIONS for sharing the videos that can eases my mind and warms my heart. A salt water fishing trip is the number one thing on this hillbilly’s bucket list. Safe travels and Gods blessings to the family of SALTY REFLECTIONS. Thank you 🙏🏻

    Muriatic acid would really bring the color back out on some of those welks.

    • @SaltyReflections
      @SaltyReflections  2 роки тому +1

      We're going to have to try it.

    • @lindsayhuff8813
      @lindsayhuff8813 2 роки тому +1

      @@SaltyReflections exited to see some of those blues and oranges come out from under that white film. I bet it is going to make them even more beautiful.
      PS. Do not use acid on badly pitted or naturally shiny shells, like the olives for example. It will work wonders on the welks, and other matte shells, but shells like cowries, olives or Florida fighting conchs, it will remove that natural shine some of them tend to have.

    How come there are never people on those beaches??? You are very lucky!,

    • @SaltyReflections
      @SaltyReflections  2 роки тому +1

      There are others around every once in a while. We mostly travel to barrier island by boat that have no road access. This eliminates a lot of people. If there are people around we try to stay away while we're videoing. Some people don't want to be videod. We never want to make anyone around us uncomfortable.

    I am so thankful that y'all pick up the balloons ,etc. so the turtles, etc don't eat them and die. In Hawaii we get a lot of plastic washing up from all over the Pacific. Micro plastics are becoming a big problem. I have some unique shells from here but I love the shells y'all find.

    You do realize that by pulling that wagon through all of the washed up shells and stuff that you are causing more damage to them for others that come after you. There are plenty of areas of just sand that the wagon would not cause damage to the shells and such, Please have some respect for others that have like interests, and may come after you on those beaches!!!
