EGYPTIAN STREET FOOD: culinary HEAVEN! Virtual Egyptian tourism and Covid-19.

- How possible is it to focus on a foreign country's culture, history and food without leaving your country? I explore Egyptian street food and do some Egyptian tourism - right here in Glasgow.
I had planned to visit a couple of other Egyptian eateries, and museums with Egyptian artefacts, but the Covid-19 lockdown was announced with little warning, so I stopped filming.

Love what ever you do we all need a break love your videos
The museums and the breakfast look amazing. Thanks for taking us along.
Keep those food vlogs coming along; nobody's could ever refuse such delicious offerings . Kebabs are one of the most popular dishes in the middle east and SE Asian areas ; famous doner kebabs of Turkey . Thanks for using your taste buds as an experimental crucible .
Ah, come back as soon as you can. I watch a lot of You Tube videos and I love your content more than most.
Hi Lesley and thanks for your kind comment. The current Covid-19 restrictions probably won't be lifted until early March, so I have time to plan future videos - I just have to be patient. :-)
Have worked in Cairo in the past and if you get away from tourist area the street food and breakfast haunts are crazy cheap to eat at. it's all chaos in Cairo but it works and you have to accept it and don't get frustrated
Lovely video as usual 🙂 thank you for showcasing my city! 😘
Again I enjoyed your video both foods looked great, I can sort of work out where you had the breakfast, which look like west end of Glasgow Dumbarton road near to Patrick, but not the kebab shop. The last time I was back home the blue police box was a coffee stall. Also I have never visited the Hunterian museum. So when I next return I try and make it point to go and visit it. Many thank
Great idea for a series! :)
Novel. Nice video.👍
Great video, thanks for sharing your tour. All that was missing was a bunch of guys saying hey Joe, you buy, and the guy with the camel that you can get on for free but have to pay 10 bucks to get off of.....
Ok, this is an awesome idea...I wasn't able to go to Edinburg this spring, what do you recommend to eat to make a virtual tour for Edinburg? (I can Google it but I want a first hand advise, thank you)
Unusual video, can you do some with European food
Hi Alan. Thanks for your feedback. There are many European restaurants in the Glasgow area, but not many attractions, unlike Egypt, which has cultural and historical examples in just about every museum in the city. I'm still thinking about a Glasgow Street Food video, but I'm not sure if my arteries could handle it!
Looks delicious x
Truly enjoy your adventures, you stay safe and we’ll be looking for your return @rustynails
Hi Wendy. Thanks for your kind comment. We are in the middle of a light and long Covid shutdown here in Scotland. The last Rusty video was uploaded on the 10th January and the last PlanesTrainsEverything video was uploaded on the 13th January. At least I have plenty of time to plan future adventures. Stay safe.
@@PlanesTrainsEverything we may not know why things are as there are I feel we can trust we are learning what we have to! Keep you spirits up, I am! I’ll be watching for you Rusty!
