  • Are you tired of your audience not paying attention during your presentations? Here's a simple trick to get them focused.
People read faster than we can talk. Which means when you're presenting a slide full of words, your audience is already finished before you even start.
And that's a problem because your presentation will become boring, and you'll lose your audience's attention.
You want them to focus on YOU and what YOU'RE saying, and not the screen and what they're reading.
Normally when you present, you show everything on the slide at once and then talk through your key points.
But what if you could reveal each of your points one by one?
No-one but you knows what's coming next.
Magic? Or just a simple PowerPoint trick?
Watch to find out how to use the animate feature in PowerPoint to make words appear one line at a time.

There is an easier way to do this I think...Have all your bullet points in one text box (that way you don't have to worry about getting the spacing of the text boxes right). Highlight all the text in the box and select 'appear' in the animations tab. Little number 1s will appear on all the text. On the right hand side of the animations tab there is a is a drop down for when the animation should start, change it to 'On click' or after previous and set the length of the delay. The little 1s will turn into sequential numbers and when you view the animation it will appear line by line 🙂

Hi Luis, I created that text animation in Adobe After Effects. So you won't be able to replicate that easily in presentation software like PowerPoint. There are still lots of nice animations available and you can even combine them. If you want to learn more about animating your images and text, then check out this article - slidemodel.com/powerpoint-animation/?srsltid=AfmBOoo0A8AHm9SVAvIh-ZxMuCH9IJIQdNrvrsyFl_vFlqqZV0R0Muly

That text is actually an animation in Adobe After Effects. Here's a great video that explains how to get started with text animators ua-cam.com/video/IJ3QHNQSJg8/v-deo.html

I used Adobe After Effects for those intros/outros. Glad you liked them. I'm not really an expert though, so better to search for After Effects channels to learn more about it.

The "appear" animation is now my number one favourite.
