World Record Hope & Legacy (Slow-motion) - Yuzuru Hanyu 羽生結弦 World Championships 2017 FS

- On April 1, 2017, Yuzuru Hanyu performed a flawless dazzling free program for a new world record of 223.20 - making history once again.
Two weeks ago, Yuzuru fans from around the globe released a video analysis ( • Yuzuru Hanyu 羽生結弦 Step... ) of the WR-breaking performance to celebrate. We have received a lot of positive feedback from fans all over the world, and with popular request, we would like to present this video as a token of thank you.
So here is the same performance in slow-motion (0.6x) with footwork, transitions, and elements annotated - and a couple improvements made in the step sequence from suggestions we received :) - for all to savour and enjoy!

Wow. All his difficult spins are so beautifully choreographed to flow naturally into each variation. Exemplifying how the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
No wonder commentators say he has a difficult programme, packed with elements and nary a second to rest.
Yuzuru foot works is amazing.
Every time watching Yuzuru, I am crying. So many emotions. I am happy to live and watch this incredible art on the Ice.
OMG‼ Yuzu's performance in slow motion is still so beautiful. Watch his steps and jumps, listen to the music, you will find out they all perfectly match the music!!!! It is super hard because H&L is not as dramatic as those warhorse music used by others. Thank you for making this great video‼‼
Wow the performance is even more musical and beautiful in slow motion! While in normal speed the flow was so smoothy, this version allowed me to calmly and carefully observe every single move of him. And kudos to the added details ❤ Thank you very much!

This performance is one of my favorites of Yuzuru Hanyu. It is so lovely. Thanks for this slow motion version! How does he memorize every little detail like that? And how does he have the strength to finish such a challenging program? Simply amazing.
I think he actually fiddles with those details a lot from competition to competition, there's an element of improvisation (though of course not completely)! Because each competition is a different interaction of audience, mind space and atmosphere after all
