My granddaughter was in middle school years ago and the school got a bomb threat. They didn't tell the students right away but told them to quietly leave the building and go out to the tennis courts. She said police came with dogs and checked out the school. She was scared. When they could go back into the school she was walking along alone and felt a hand on her shoulder ..it was comforting. When she turned around nobody was close to her. When she got back into her classroom she saw a person who looked like her dad walk past one of the windows. Her dad had been dead for a few years!...she's never forgotten it!
Yep, I am a Londoner and we had a decade or so when there were real bombs going off. Not a nice time. Best thing is to keep calm. More people are hurt through panic than are killed by bombs. Screaming never saved a life. Let us all keep safe. great stories for your grandchildren:-) Hugs as always xx
I've never been involved in a bomb threat situation, but I remember one time when I still lived with my parents and my mom took a call in which a man identified himself as a police officer and told her that anybody in the house should refrain from going outside until further notice. A few hours later, my brother was scheduled to leave for work and called the police to see when the "shelter in place" order might be lifted. He was informed that the call had been a hoax, because the department would never act as he reported. This was before cell phones, so texted alerts were not yet an option.
I worked for a District Court Judge for years and we had a bomb threat once in the courthouse building. It was surreal but I wasn’t totally shocked because by the time it came in I was pretty jaded as to the ugliness people can do to each other day in and day out. Threats in court, on the phone and in writing were unfortunately pretty routine, not to mention why most people were in court to begin with. So glad I’m retired!
It was the following week after 9/11 that I was doing jury duty in downtown Dallas. And at one point the judge stopped all proceedings and said that there had been a bomb threat. And the judge said that it happens about once a month and that we could just continue or with what happened the pervious week we could leave the building. Five minutes later we were all outside and away from the building.
I have a plan of escape where ever I am. If I’m eating in a fast food place, which is extremely rare, or any restaurant, first I take note of the closest exit to my location in the building. I observe all the patrons and “size them up”. Same behavior no matter where I am (church, grocery store, hospital, garbage dump, highway). Even my own home. People are constantly in “flight” mode these days and it sets us up for severe anxiety, which I have. I trust no one. SAD, SAD.
When I was I 9th grade our school had well over a dozen bomb threats throughout the year. Nothing ever actually happened and I didn't mind having a free day off from school, but at the end of the year it was discovered that the guy calling in the bomb threats was actually a cafeteria worker who whenever he didn't want to go into work he would call in a bomb threat. Crazy lol, I'm sure he enjoyed some good years in prison
Been there, done that with surviving school boom threats in high school and once in Walmart, many years back. It’s sad people that do stuff like that just to get their kicks. Jail time might change their minds to do it again! You’re both right, no matter who you are, you have to be aware and prepared, because now days they don’t just call in threats they act on them without warning. Always be aware of your surroundings and never think people are just joking, because now days they are so evil, they aren’t. It’s sad the times we live in. People need to turn back to God and start living life for good to help each other and to be kind, caring and with loving hearts. If we all did then this world would be a better place.
"If you get blowed up, you're not gonna need the backpack." LOL! I had a math class in college, taught by a grad student. Come the day of our first test, someone called in a bomb threat on the building where we met. Huh. Right around class time, too. Hmmm. It happened the day of the second test, too. Whaddaya know? After that, the instructor wised up, and we would meet outside our building on test days to walk to another, undisclosed building for the test. The bomb threats stopped!
Wow. I'm sorry y'all had to go through that. I have been through some bomb threats but it's been as a police officer. I've been one of the officers to run into the stores to help make people leave, because sometimes they look like their heads are on backwards... they don't want to move. We have to go in and clear the store or the school before anybody can return safely. Stuff like that really does affect people differently because it puts them in almost a State of Shock because they don't know what to do. I'm glad it wasn't real threats and nobody was hurt. Y'all have Angels watching over Y'all.
I like the story time! It's a great break from all the usual stuff going on in the world... Even though your situation was scary. Reminds me of how life used to be a few years ago. I wish I hadn't taken for granted those good old days!... Stay safe!
New subscriber here, hello from California. We also had a bomb threat once when I was in high school. They put all the students out on the football field. The main thing I recall is the principle was making announcements with an electronic megaphone but he kept moving it around while talking so no one could hear what he was saying so it was basically total chaos. Turns out it was a rival football team that called in the fake bomb threat.
Yes....please keep story time going!!! I'm glad no harm came about from the 2 instances and they do make for great stories!! But Katie's description of the fenced-in tennis court....'The Cage"...LOL!! I can just imagine a Hollywood director picking up this story and making a campy 'B' horror movie out of it!
Bomb scares!!!! When I was in 10th grade, my high school had so many bomb scares that there was desk set up outside, far enough from the main building, so we could continue class while the building was checked for the bomb. Luckily, there was never any bombs found. But, it goes to show that people get their kicks calling them in. Also, this was back in 68 or 69 when there was no caller ID.
When I was in High School in the 1970’s we had bomb threats on a regular basis and we were all made to stand in the parking lot of the school! How crazy is that. Never found any bombs thankfully.
I'm 80 so I was in high school a long time ago...I remember organized fire drills, some boys setting off a cherry bomb in their bathroom and blowing up a toilet, "duck and cover" under our desks for atomic bomb drills and then there was the kid who'd get put out about something and pull the fire alarm. There were gangs (at different schools) who'd get together and 'rumble.' Some of these males and females carried switch blades and razor blades. So things have definitely intensified over the years with the addition of guns. Happy you're both ok.
I love the end line... "No 💣, no shoes, no shirt, no service, no problem." 😅 So glad y'all didn't get blown up!!! All my love and prayers for you and yours, always 💙 Shabbat shalom
Remember, the “embellishments” add to the art of storytelling. Anyways, I had forgotten all about this incident. It was the last day of school before Christmas vacation. Williams Jr High, Sturgis, SD. I can’t remember if I was in 7th or 8th grade. So 1980 or 1981. We were all in the Gym watching a movie, and some joker called in a bomb threat. They rushed all of us out into the alley between the buildings where we stood around saying we didn’t believe the bomb threat, and if it were true, we were all right there next to the gym in the alley. We would have been buried under bricks had a bomb went off. Well they looked through all the classrooms and all the lockers and decided we could go back to the movie.
Yes, I want to go shopping with Corie! I’m getting OUT if there is any kind of threat. We received several bomb threats at schools where I taught over the years. Thankfully none of them were real, just disruptive. Never EVER ignore them! Have a great week! Jane in SC❤️🙏🏻
When I was a corporation security officer I enjoyed evacuation drills; it was the only time we were allowed to speak sternly to staff. My second favorite activity was when the shift would pair off and race up the nine flights of stairs on either end of the building. Most of the job was utter boredom and paperwork.
We had a bomb threat in Jr. High school. Turned out to be a couple of kids who wanted a free day from school. They got lots of free days after they were permanently suspended. The newspaper made a point to report it and the ensuing punishment. This was back when discipline wasn't a bad word and it kept kids from doing even more stupid things than they would have normally.
This is a great idea for a series! I'm looking forward to more :) I am grateful that I have never found myself in a situation like that. I'm glad that you both were okay in yours! Thank you, and God bless!
I have never been anywhere that had a bomb threat or any kind of threat. I've been through a lot of drills but never the real thing....and I am certainly glad for that!
Pretty cool that Katie is making her own prepper, get home bag. She should film what all she's putting in it. You can melt Vaseline and dunk a bunch of cotton balls into it, and it makes a pretty good fire starter. Waterproof matches is a good thing to have. A water filter with a carbon system is also good to have. I've got the MSR stove and a dozen freeze dried meals, plus all the above mentioned stuff! Having a vehicle that isn't bothered by any sort of electrical interference is good to have too.
Bomb threats became a 'thing' long after I finished high school, but that doesn't mean I escaped them. I worked for a company in the finance industry during the '70s when they became 'popular.' We were a regulated company and were audited by several different agencies. One of the things they checked for was security and threat assessment/control/response. We had to buy a bomb blanket that would limit the effects to a small area should we have one and it be detonated. We operated 7 days a week and 24 hours a day; so employees had to be trained on those issues on all shifts. Most employees were evacuated, but officers and senior managers had to search for a bomb and place the bomb blanket on it if we found it. Only officers and senior managers were required to place the blanket. We even had drills to train people and accustom them to their duties. We never knew if it was a drill or the real thing. I had to place the blanket on the bomb several times. Although it was fake, the practice reassured me that I could do it if the need arose. Yes. We had quite a few bomb threats. We figured they all came from ex-employees, especially those 'let go for cause.'
I used to do my grocery shopping about 40 miles from where I lived. I'd go late at night when there wouldn't be a bunch of people in the store, but I only went about once a month since it was a drive. I'd been shopping about 2 hours, had 2 buggies of groceries, and they announced a bomb threat over the intercom. We had to leave our buggies where they were and evacuate. They told us it would take them hours to clear the store to make sure there was no bomb, so I went home, kind of shook up, but at least safe. The worst part was leaving all those groceries... I'd open a cabinet door to get the xxx for the next month and a half, and then remember, oh yeah, I didn't get to check that out. It was starting to be like that movie, "Groundhog Day", every day I'd open a cabinet and then remember I didn't have that item. 😂
Well, I’m really old and when I was in Elementary school we had “Air Raid Drills” once a month….the last Friday of every month. This was in the 1950’s and we would have to get under our desk and scrunch up with our arms covering our heads, it was called “Duck and Cover”. This was during the time when the United States was at the height of the Cold War …there was a race to see which nation could stockpile the most nuclear bombs. The “Air Raid” siren was so loud the whole town could hear it and there was a paralyzing fear that came with these drills. It affected me for many years 😞
I was lucky enough, or rather unlucky enough, to be through two bomb threats as well. Once in grade school and again in high school. There were no bombs either time, THANK YOU JESUS! I cant wait to hear Tippers rendition of this story. Get her to tell us her bomb threat story. Hugs from southern Illinois.
Wild stories! There was a bomb threat, when I was in high school. I remember standing outside in a line. It was the last period of the day. After a while, the teacher came up to us and told us to go home. There was no bomb. The cops found out who called in the threat and was arrested.
Oh y'all are GREAT storytellers! That cage! Oh my word!!!! I love this, really enjoying it. 💓 🙌🏼 ETA: So agree re: stories, I think stories ARE LIFE, just one of the best parts of this all (life). 🙌🏼
That was the best best BEST video! I loved both of those stories. I was in school in the 70's and 80's and bomb threats were a somewhat regular occurrence. We hated waiting outside in the winter with no coats on, for the " all clear" from the bomb squad! But YOUR stories were a hoot to listen to! I'm sorry that you had to go through it though. It can be really scary! Take care and keep putting out these awesome videos!
My mom worked in a factory in the 1970's. Someone kept calling in bomb threats. It turned out to be an employee that didn't want to work. They finally figured out that the calls were coming from inside the factory and checked camera footage and found out who it was. ✌️
I have a bomb threat story. It happened in 1975 being a south mor at Marshall County high school in benton ky. The principal over the PA said all students are to go where the busses drop off students we all borded the busses they took us to the far end of the parking lot and turned the busses facing the building. I though cool we get a front row view of the building blowing up. But after 2 hours we went back to class.
And hey! My nephew is an ex Purple Heart marine (a twin whose twin brother also was a marine!) who served ten years ago. He was the head of a team who “cut the red wire” to disarm ground bombs ( lol whatever they’re called) in Afghanistan. Dangerous stuff and such interesting/sad stories he came home with. But thank God he came home.
Enjoyed story time! Looking forward to more story time videos! First, I'm old , and I grew up in the mountains of western north Carolina. Back then ,things were very different. We never had any bomb threats the whole time I went thru school. Back then , in high school , most boys carried pocket knives, and some had the folding hunting knives, in the leather sheath, on their belt . Many boys drove trucks with gun racks and had a gun or two in the racks at school, because most hunted before and after school ,during hunting season. We never could have imagined a bomb threat or shootings, that happened other places ,not in our area ,we lived in .I do believe we had a drill for a bomb threat , since it had happened, like in cities in the usa. If my memory is correct, we went to the ball field ....thanks y'all. God bless y'all. 🙏❤
@@thepressleygirls me too ! I'm sure your mom and dad remember those days, since I'm only a few years older than them ...thanks ...appreciate you guys ...🙏❤
That's scary. Crazy stuff goes on all the time nowadays, and it's become dangerous to even go to the grocery store. People have lost their minds. 🥺 There is so much hate on the world now. It breaks my heart. Stay safe, and God bless ❤🙏❤
Wow!!! How scary! I was a teacher for 30 years and during that time I never experienced a bomb threat. We had a few times when there were strangers on the playground and we had to get all of the kids off the playground and inside the building. Glad your experiences ended safely.
I flew to Germany when my first grandson was born. (Military baby). My son and I were in the Wal-Mart there when a bomb threat came in. Evacuated. Police and their dogs came and cleared the building and then we went back in. So, in an unfamiliar country, do not speak German, you learn really quick to communicate the best you can. Welcome to the world baby boy. Lol. What a memory to have for his birth.
I worked in Madrid, Spain, for most of a year in the early '90s. One Saturday, I was walking around the city 'exploring' and taking in a new culture when a Spanish Army truck (about what we would call a deuce-and-a-half) pulled up sharply at an intersection we were standing at waiting to walk across the broad avenue. Out piled a squad of soldiers who rapidly unloaded sandbags, built a wall with them, them positioned a 30-cal. machine gun aimed to shoot any enemy vehicle in the intersection. They also threw all lights to red somehow. We learned later that the Basque rebels had threatened to bomb the Spanish communications headquarters. We were only a couple of city blocks away from that hq when the alarm was sounded. It was a common enough occurrence that locals didn't over-react but calmly took themselves off the streets. We were fascinated and curious and didn't leave until the sergeant in charge of the squad told us - no, ordered us - to get off the street. That sergeant was a gorgeous young blonde but she was all business. One of the train stations was bombed while I was there, but I was nowhere near it.
I like it! If it weren't so far away I would like to come sit on the porch with you both and tell stories. Since I was little my family would sit and tell ghost stories. We're all from the hills of WV. Lots of good memories sitting around the camp fire.
There was a bomb threat at our schools Jr high and high school atleast twice a year I also experienced a bomb threat at work now that one was really scary I know employees that get fired sometimes can go a little off the deep end.....I think story time on the porch will be a hit everyone loves memory lane
Yes, At a factory I worked at years ago, a bomb threat was called in, we were all sent home, in the end, it ended up being from a guy that they had fired the day before, was crazy, that was the first and Thank God that is the only one that I’ve been around. Thank God yours was all empty threats❤️🙏
Love hearing your story, more please. During a final exam, an announcement came over the intercom that there was a bomb threat and for us to leave the building. The professor thought it was a fake threat and refused to let us go. After a couple more announcements, an official came to our room and forced the professor to let us leave. It was tense for a while, but turned out there was no bomb.
It’s true. We are in the days of Noah as the Bible talks about with extreme increasing violence. I hang on to Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger...”. Beautiful sweater!
I also had 2 bomb threats. One in middle school (this would've been 1997 or 98, and at the time it was quite the novel experience). We all got to go home. The second time was in college...the day of final exams my junior year (2006). That time, the goal was obviously to get the exams cancelled by whoever called it in, but only resulted in a 2 hour delay.
That is wild! Corey was right there at the place and location, then finds out afterwards from her Dad’s Co-Worker, at his workplace, from facebook info!!! That is a “ Twilight Zone” moment! The other bomb story is also quite a story. Your Mom, I’m sure, handled it with calm reserve, waited til after to collapse and reboot, lol!❤️
Corie and Katie, you are just wonderful! I am so happy that I found you both and your family. I am a retired English teacher and a firm believer in story and love yours ~ please do make this a series. You make me long for a much simpler life and I look so forward to watching everything that you all do. You are a shining light and a blessing in this evil and crazy world ~ thank you both!
Worked as a front-end mgr at WalMart. Experienced two bomb threats. 1) unattended backpack, which contained a wired device. Turn out to be a kids science project. 2) Camouflaged Ammo container unattended in the parking lot. I had to keep area clear. Then had to direct cars off lot. Killer hot and humid summer day in Hawaii. Totally above my pay scale. Bomb squad called empty container 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Bomb threats were a regular event in our high school . Central Florida. " oh yeah, we get to go outside " . Lucky you only had one 😅 . The bad part is no one ever really took them seriously.
Never was involved in any bomb threats or active shooters. Must be scary & we also must be aware that these things do happen all the time & have some sort of game plan in our mind as to what to do if it does happen. I want to hear more stories. I think having a series of story time is a great idea! Hugs!
We had several bomb threats in high school. One year, we had 3 in a week. It was actually a nice hs in a really nice area. Usally uneventful...We stood outside for a couple hours and then went back inside...just 2500 high school kids happy to be missing class. Except one time the bomb squad found a suspicious package under the bleachers with their robot searching thing. Apparently the threat was that it would go off soon, so our principal climbed under there and grabbed it himself and ran it out away from the school. Thankfully it turned out to be nothing, but we all really respected our principal after that.
Mercy, those are a couple hair raising experiences! Once you go through something like that, it does make you think about being prepared, which is mostly a mindset, and being aware of your surroundings. Don't get caught in a cage again, lol. This world is getting crazier by the day, you gals stay safe! 🙏✨🖖
Wow! Two stories that I’m sure had y’all’s nerves all to pieces. Glad there were no bombs actually involved in either incident. I would have been more concerned about being locked in the tennis court CAGE!!!! 👎🏻 I don’t like going to Walmart either Corie bomb threat or not. And yes Katie we believe in having bug out bags in our vehicles to. About the biggest excitement we had when I was in school was a routine fire drill when we all marched out to the flagpole where the teachers would get a head count. Enjoyed hearing these stories, keep ‘em coming. 🙏🏻😇🙏🏻😇❤️❤️
Totally enjoyed this Story Time segment, I predict that this will probably become one of your most requested among all your subscribers. Please keep the stories coming. Now don't hold back I am sure you both have good natured stories on each other. Love you Guys...
I worked at Walmart for 19 years and we had 1 bomb threat in that time and I was more dumbfounded than scared and completely couldn’t believe what I was seeing, the threat was called in and management came over the loud speaker and told everyone to be calm and go to the nearest exit and leave the store and us associates were supposed to make sure everyone did just that, well let me tell you the customers in my county are some pretty stubborn people when they get told that because they DID NOT want to leave their carts of merchandise, some continued to shop and some just headed to the nearest checkout to get in line to purchase their stuff before leaving the store because they didn’t want their stuff to get put back and inconvenience them and a few just thought that it meant they could exit the store with their carts unpaid for UNBELIEVABLE I know it kinda blew me away (pun intended)
Customers got upset with us when cashiers closed registers because of tornado warnings. They really thought we should continue working with a tornado close by.
@@southernmimi Why is it the customers get all bent out of shape when we are protecting their lives. We had a bomb threat in my store, too, and they were furious we had to ask them to leave!
I believe it. If you watch personal stories of people when the Joplin tornado, CAT 5, was coming at them. A man ran into the store to gather his family and get to the rear of the store where it was safest. Others responded lik so what. Give up the stuff in their carts? Not done shopping yet. Crazy!
Loved the bomb stories. No, I have never been anywhere when a bomb threat was going on. I'm an RN and do remember one time when they told us there was an "active shooter" in the hospital and to get to our "safe places". It turned out to be a drill because hospitals have to prepare for things like that. I have a couple of other semi-interesting stories which only show that God looks out for us every day of our lives. Anyway, loved this video.
I docked a sub once and was told there was a sulferous odor in the restroom. idk Wondering how I came across your mom’s channel. Prayer is a big part of my life maybe that’s it. But I can listen to you all day. Ty for being decent too and funny I catch myself cussing and stop myself now. lol no promises
I've never experienced a bomb threat. I'm like Katie, don't tell me what to do. You can ask me, but don't demand that I do something. I was a stubborn child, different from others. As the saying goes, You laugh because I'm different, and I laugh because you all are the same 😂 Looks like your whole family gets to experience things together 🙂 Thank you for sharing, until the next video, y'all have a wonderfully blessed day 🙏🤗💕🌻
6th grade, 1972 in a white bread town in Massachusetts. Everyone out, lined up in back lower field. Kids crying and upset. Nothing happened. They use to pull fire alarms too. Ridiculous.
I'm old enough that when I was in school, we didn't have any issues with bomb threats. Thank goodness! We had some pulled fire alarms, but that was about it. The volunteer fire dept. was right next door to my school. 😁 And yes, being caged up is not the best idea....
I don't remember any issues with bombs, shootings, etc. I started school in in 1952 and graduated in 1965. Too bad things aren't still like they were back then. Of course there were boys first fighting and sadly girls also. And they were separated by teachers or principal.
I used to work in a Government building and we got evacuated quite a few times. It was scary the first few times but you eventually came to expect it. Looking back it was actually crazy. I would come home from work and my mum would ask how my day was, and I'd be like "fine, we had a bomb scare" 🤦♀️😂
Love the series already! You both had me on the edge of my seat! Praise God no one was hurt and nothing happened. I can’t imagine though how scary that must have been both times and then your poor mom too. I had to laugh though when Corie described her running out when the intercom came on and then worrying that she’d be mistaken for the suspect. So glad for your safety! Thanks for sharing, Katie and Corie! I love listening to stories too. God bless!
Yes, I worked in the super Walmart in New Jersey, and we were all told to leave the building and get far back on the lot. They didn't say it was a bomb but when you see bomb stiffing dogs come in you know it was. Also, people wanted to know why they couldn't finish shopping and a women told everyone that her brother was a reporter and he said that they got a bomb threat.
you are right people nowadays are nuttier than a fruit cake. which brings me back to the time your grannys house was broke into. i know you girls don`t condone violence, but i can promise you this, if i hadda been sitting in grandmas house when they showed up, well, lets put it this way, they never woulda done it again. thank you and sis and mom and dad for all the stories and videos. i am a 73 year old retired vietnam era vet 67-68- army. i love yawlls episodes. respectfully, charlie capece tn.
Good video good story time look forward to lot more stories I have some of a lot of other areas not with bombs. So maybe I will share some when they come along with another topics
I worked at an insurance business and we had a bomb threat. The powers that be sent us to the parking lot not far from the building. A few years after that at a different business bomb threat. We were at least sent across the street that time
Katie has cute socks 😂 Katie and corie are super girls .i bet yall were really scared .corie your hair is beautiful and Katie is surprisingly funny she can tell good storys thank you Katie for being you ....have a great weekend girls .
That had to have been so,scary, both times! I can honestly say I have never experienced that before. So glad y’all all are ok! Hugs and love from Texas! Love the porch talks too.
I really enjoy you girls and your entire family. Your story was delightful, just watching both of you . Lovely girls! I know your parents are so very proud of you both. God bless you all.

Oh that is beautiful, thank you for sharing:)
"No bombs, No shirt, No service!!" 🤣 Sounds like a t-shirt meme!
Oh boy oh boy I love story time with The Pressley Girls. Got to grab my coffee don't start without me 🤗
Getting out of a Walmart parking lot on a normal day is like a demolition derby. I can't imagine trying to get out during an emergency!🤯😂
Yep, I am a Londoner and we had a decade or so when there were real bombs going off. Not a nice time. Best thing is to keep calm. More people are hurt through panic than are killed by bombs. Oh wow that’s odd and mean too!
I worked for a District Court Judge for years and we had a bomb threat once in the courthouse building. OMG! 😱
When I was in college in the '70s, there was a rash of bomb threats, apparently made by students when there was a test they hadn't studied for.
Well, how stupid on his part. He got his wish of getting out of work for how long?🙄 Duh.😱
Oh man!
Oh wow. And yes it is so sad
Wow that’s crazy!
@@thepressleygirls And the guy who flunked the class
Oh wow yes it does kind of stick with you, that stuff does!
Thank you
Yes....please keep story time going!!! I'm glad no harm came about from the 2 instances and they do make for great stories!! But Katie's description of the fenced-in tennis court....'The Cage"...LOL!! I can just imagine a Hollywood director picking up this story and making a campy 'B' horror movie out of it!
🤣🙏
Omgosh the back bathroom is where I used to go too.
Moral of the story .... never go to public bathroom and stay out of stores as much as possible
Oh man!
I worked at a college and we had frequent bomb threats when the students wanted to get out of school.. bombs dogs and all
Yes, I want to go shopping with Corie!
I'm looking forward to more :)
I am grateful that I have never found myself in a situation like that. I'm glad that you both were okay in yours!
Thank you, and God bless!
Amen!
I love porch stories with the Pressley’s I love Katie & Corrie, y’all stay safe and keep well ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
I have never been anywhere that had a bomb threat or any kind of threat.
Oh wow that’s interesting. Yes it’s sad that these types of behavior have become popular for the bad guys to do!
It affected me for many years 😞
Oh wow!
Oh wow! Glad your okay! Hugs!
Love listening to your stories. Never a dull moment with you two. 🙂
Off topic... because I'm drinking beers... Carmen sound is AWESOME
I grew up in the Seattle area in the 70s where it rains a lot. We used to have bomb threats every sunny Friday afternoon.
Oh my goodness!
Like ATC, Air Traffic Control, once said light to moderate incoming. Miss Corie, Miss Katie, have a nice weekend.💣
"I would like to think and I would probably be right..." 😂🤣You just got to love this girl!!
🙏❤️
Wish times were still like that 💕
@@thepressleygirls me too !
Wow!
@@rhhutchins194 Wow, that's crazy!
Wow, that would be pretty scary. Glad y’all were ok.❤
Love your stories. Thankyou for sharing. 🇬🇧🥰
Thank the Lord for helping guide us through times like that. 🙏
🙏❤️🙏❤️
Keep it up girls!! YES! MORE STORIES! 👍
Thanks for sharing the stories girls
Worked as a front-end mgr at WalMart. Experienced two bomb threats. 1) unattended backpack, which contained a wired device. Turn out to be a kids science project. 2) Camouflaged Ammo container unattended in the parking lot. I had to keep area clear. Then had to direct cars off lot. Killer hot and humid summer day in Hawaii. Totally above my pay scale. Bomb squad called empty container 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Oh wow that’s insane!
Great stories! Y’all take after your Mom..a very good storyteller!😊
Bomb threats were a regular event in our high school . Central Florida. " oh yeah, we get to go outside " . Lucky you only had one 😅 . The bad part is no one ever really took them seriously.
Great stories. Especially the one about the school. Wouldn't that make a great movie.
Thanks for sharing your stories. I'm so happy to be able to see you two sitting on that porch swing, safe. Yes, please make the story time a series.
I'm glad nothing bad happened to y'all! "The Cage". Katie is so funny, but I get it! I'd be thinking the same thing! YES, please do story time!!
Never was involved in any bomb threats or active shooters. Must be scary & we also must be aware that these things do happen all the time & have some sort of game plan in our mind as to what to do if it does happen. I want to hear more stories. I think having a series of story time is a great idea! Hugs!
I've been in 3 active shooter situations and was fired at during one of them.
Wow, crazy stories! Unfortunately there were threats when I was in high school too.
Please keep all the stories coming!!
🤣
Crazy!
That’s wild!
Oh, more stories, please. Just you girls sitting on the porch swing, swapping stories is wonderful! Please continue.💚
Hello.Sock........Awesome.Video.Thankyou
I docked a sub once and was told there was a sulferous odor in the restroom. idk Wondering how I came across your mom’s channel. Prayer is a big part of my life maybe that’s it. But I can listen to you all day. Ty for being decent too and funny I catch myself cussing and stop myself now. lol no promises
🙏✝️😁
I've never experienced a bomb threat. I'm like Katie, don't tell me what to do. You can ask me, but don't demand that I do something. I was a stubborn child, different from others. As the saying goes, You laugh because I'm different, and I laugh because you all are the same 😂
Looks like your whole family gets to experience things together 🙂 Thank you for sharing, until the next video, y'all have a wonderfully blessed day 🙏🤗💕🌻

6th grade, 1972 in a white bread town in Massachusetts. Everyone out, lined up in back lower field. Kids crying and upset. Nothing happened. They use to pull fire alarms too. Ridiculous.
Please do make this a series. Loved listening.
God bless!
Crazy times girls
Yes, I worked in the super Walmart in New Jersey, and we were all told to leave the building and get far back on the lot. They didn't say it was a bomb but when you see bomb stiffing dogs come in you know it was. Also, people wanted to know why they couldn't finish shopping and a women told everyone that her brother was a reporter and he said that they got a bomb threat.
yeah I think we all go thru these situations and they are very scary.looking forward to more of the the pressley girls stories.💕💕
I am happy that you guys are safe. God bless you my friend.
you are right people nowadays are nuttier than a fruit cake. which brings me back to the time your grannys house was broke into. i know you girls don`t condone violence, but i can promise you this, if i hadda been sitting in grandmas house when they showed up, well, lets put it this way, they never woulda done it again. thank you and sis and mom and dad for all the stories and videos. i am a 73 year old retired vietnam era vet 67-68- army. i love yawlls episodes. respectfully, charlie capece tn.
