Happy Holidays 🎄🎄🎅🧑🏻🎄😊😘
Love the Your Skin But Better, per your recommendation, but for my dry skin, I have to mix it with a more hydrating foundation. Especially since the temps are plummeting. Lisa, have you tried Elf's Halo Glow Setting Powder? It's super nice. I go in with a very minimal dusting, and it doesn't dry my skin at all. Great glam look. You are just flawless! ❤❤🥰🥰

So gorgeous!! Thank You! What would be a few great drugstore foundations? I'm currently out of work from a bad car accident on my way to work. I'm a Nurse. (It wasn't my fault, had to mention that). Messed up my back so bad! No extra money coming in except hubby's pay, auto mechanic. His pay basically goes to all Bill's! Thank You and God Bless! Xx
I do almost a reverse of this in the summer. I live in Wisconsin so we have WINTER :) have dry skin and use a dewy foundation in winter, but in the summer I will mix a dewy with a satin when my skin doesn't need as much added moisture.
Watch, that’s gonna be the new foundation craze to come. Makeup brands are going to start coming out with duel foundation bottles for more customized applications. Use the dewier side on drier areas of the face and the matte side for the oilier areas or areas with enlarged pores. Or mix both for all over satin / velvet finish. Why haven’t they thought of this before??
I'll have to ditto the comment from Dutch Girl---if I looked as good as you without makeup, I wouldn't even wear it most of the time! Love Pat McGrath concealer and eye powder.
I combine L’Oréal Infallible with the Miisha BB cream -perfection! Wears all day- and the It foundation all by itself as I’m a super dry gal (57 years old 😱😉) THE IT IS MY NEW HOLY GRAIL 👍🏼❣️❣️
She has such beautiful skin...I miss my 30s. Even if you are ok in your 30s and early 40s....you will see real changes mid to late 40s. I’ve found prescription strength retin a helps a ton for skin maintenance...keep it looking decent as you get older. It will dry your skin out a bit....I was oily and now I am drier..I am going to try this trick. I also buy concentrated foundation drops (catrice/nyx and dermablend make them) and mix them in w a more satin foundation and I found that works as well...but it’s pretty easy to get too much coverage so I have to be careful w the drops.
Thanks for sharing Debbie! I tried Retin a last year, but I had to stop unfortunately. I had severe dry eye at the time and even though I didn't apply it near my eyes at all (I focused on the cheeks and down and forehead) I guess it seeped into my skin and made it's way around my eyes because they dried out even more. 😩 My eyes have gotten much better though so I may try it again. I know its the holy grail ingredient for anti aging.
@@lisajmakeup Retinaldehyde (or retinal, with an "a") is a stellar ingredient that I recently discovered! It's one step below tretinoin (or Retin A) in the anti-aging game (retinol with an "o" being 2 steps below tretinoin) and is much gentler on my 60+ skin that the tretinoin, which I used for years but had to stop as my skin became much drier and more sensitive as I aged. I hear Maelove makes a new product containing retinaldehyde, it's called Midnight something or other (currently out of stock on Maelove's website). Also, Mychelle makes a retinaldehyde-containing serum and a cream. Costco online also carries a retinaldehyde-containing cream called Dr. Different, you get 2 tubes for $39. Just a couple suggestions if you like the effect of Retin A but can't use because of sensitivity.
I was actually looking to try the It Cosmetics Your Skin but better... my skin is greasy, large pores... textured... and I am 48 😀. I am looking for a natural looking skin... not too glowy and not flat mat... powder usually make me look caky and I don’t like it one bit ! Do you recommend that foundation ?
I love to combine Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk with the Charlotte Tilbury one you used. Makes a great combo.....also, my favorite setting powder has turned out to be the No 7 one you introduced us to :)
This is fantastic! I'm in Florida, so same environmental issues as TX...i can't stand the "dewy" trend (on me) because i feel like i just look sweaty/oily. This is especially true this time of year when we have freeze warnings at night and end up with the AC on by 4:30 in the afternoon. LOL 🤣
What shade of the Pat McGrath concealer are you using? I ordered three from Sephora online since we still can’t test shades in the store. We have a similar skin tone so I was curious. I have been wearing the Cover FX concealer that you recommended. I really like it. How would you compare the two? I wish the Koh Gen Do foundation offered neutral shades. Like you I wear the shade 123. I love dewy foundation and you are right. It is a very beautiful dewy foundation but it has a lot of yellow undertones. I would repurchase if they offered neutral shades.
Hi Lisa! I have been watching your videos for the past month. So I'm new to your channel. I love all your videos! I am 51 yrs old. I have large pores too like you. I just switched to The Porefesional hydrating primer. I am trying to find a foundation. I have tried It Cosmetics, Your Skin but Better and Laura Mercier Flawless Radiance Perfecting Foundation. They both seem to accentuate my pores and fine lines. I live in NJ so we can't even try the color in store. I am running back and forth returning products and buying new ones. What makes the foundations settle into my pores and look spotty? Sorry for yhe long comment!! :)
How do you think it would work to add a little of the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer with the Dior? I already have and love the Dior foundation and while I like the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer it's a little too glowy for my taste. I hadn't thought of mixing it with a favorite foundation as a way to use it and get less glow until watching your video so I am hoping to get your opinion on it.
You're so sweet and beautiful! I'm very careful with powder. It can age you really fast. By the way, i just received your make-up sponge and it works so good. You definitely did a great job designing it. Thank you so much!!
Thanks for the education! I am going to try it with what I have now which is.... double wear and koh gen do. Once I recover from covid and being quarentined I will go to sephora and look at others. I know I personally did not like the nars soft matte....

Love all your tortorals. What do you think of number 7 for setting and under the eyes?
I have both the Dior in matte and glow. I love both. I might mix those 2 using this trick.
Good to know! I haven't tried the Glow, but maybe I should!
What is your eye shadow combination. Just love it. So pretty on you. Thanks for the tips on foundation. Will try it right away.
Oh I love me some Kendra Scott! I’m looking forward to hearing your tips and tricks!
Your skin is gorgeous!
😍😍 Thank you friend!!
Thank you for this video, your skin bfr makeup is beautiful!!🥰
I combine L’Oréal Infallible with the Miisha BB cream -perfection! Wears
all day- and the It foundation all by itself as I’m a super dry gal
(57 years old 😱😉) THE IT IS MY NEW HOLY GRAIL 👍🏼❣️❣️
Thanks for sharing!!
You are best at what you do .. Suggested my friends about you
I’ve been mixing ester lauded double wear and the It foundation your skin but better. Love it.
Good combo of two great foundations!
So beautiful! Which foundation brush did you use?
I switched to dewy finish just 2 months ago and use makeup forever and do use Esta Lauder Double wear.
Gorgeous. I do want to purchase a high end foundation to have in my kit. Which do you recommend? Other than Dior.
Love this eye makeup, beautiful colors! Can you do a tutorial on this look please?
Thanks Diane! Yes! It was one of the palettes from my Walmart haul.. the Laura Gellar trio set
@@lisajmakeup I just ordered it. I look forward to the tutorial 🙂
Great idea! I’ve been utilizing the concealer trick you shared a few weeks ago! So I’ll have to try this one.
What color is that polish?
Thank you Carol!! I'm sorry I am not sure the color... its a shade I picked from the salon and I forgot to ask :(
I love to combine Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk with the Charlotte Tilbury one you used. Makes a great combo.....also, my favorite setting powder has turned out to be the No 7 one you introduced us to :)
Oh that sounds like a great combo Donna! And yay! That No7 powder is so good! Merry Christmas!!
@@lisajmakeupThank you and Merry Christmas back to you and your sweet family Lisa!!
Hi Which BK Beauty foundation brush were you using?
Do you have any suggestions for good drugstore matte & dewy finish foundations that you’d recommend ?
What color of foundation do you use Lisa?
Having a hard time choosing the right pat mcgrath concealer . What should do you use?
I do not see it in the list either 😔
Thanks for the education! I am going to try it with what I have now which is.... double wear and koh gen do. Once I recover from covid and being quarentined I will go to sephora and look at others. I know I personally did not like the nars soft matte....
Oh no! I hope you recover quickly!
@@lisajmakeup Thank you. I am making progress and catching up on past and present you tube videos.
Awesome eye makeup mam 😍😍😍😍
Can you please share a tutorial on the eye makeup you have done
Thank you! Yes for sure! :)
