you mentioned taking the twists down… for the ones up front that started as cornrows, does taking the twist down loosen those braids at all? i noticed you didn’t use rubber bands so wanted to ask what your experience was with that.

Hi. You probably addressed this before but I’m new here. Why do you braid the beginning/roots of your hair instead of twisting?
2 years late but for anyone whose wondering, if you don’t braid the roots the hair will start to unravel naturally, it makes the hair last longer and keeps it secure 😅
