I also rented one for 1 week..great car but this guy in the video started out making incorrect comments..if it had a 6 speed as he said it wouldn't get 28 mpg and as far as I know there is no XT5 Cadillac! 🙄

My husband bought me one of these a couple days ago he got the Platinum one with Peanut Butter colored leather seats, my dream has finally came true,the car is beautiful it’s fully loaded, I feel like a queen driving it and of course this is how he wants me to feel. My King really did it this time

I own a 2014 and I love this car so much. It’s been my dream car and when I finally got to drive it, I instantly fell in love. TONS of cabin and trunk space, attractive road presence, steering is great, the overall heavy feel of the car when ur sitting in it feels great because of stability. I’ll forever stand behind this beautiful vehicle

Yeah but I don't know if it parked the way he was trying to park it it do parallel parking maybe the 2019 have a upgraded version from 2014 I have a 2014 XTS it do parallel parking
Also on the push start if your settings is right in your car if it's cold outside your seats will automatically be warmed up for you at a certain degrees also when it's over 100° outside I believe it will cool your seats as well don't quote me you may have to look it up
@@605darrius mines turn on around high 70s like 78 degrees and hotter it can be changed in the settings

I think this car has the best lights when you walk up to it at night. Those LEDS are awesome as they light up in their little sequence.
I love xts lights hope they never change them looks like a transformer coming down the road

I just started watching the video review and heard the same mistake -- still a fairly useful video intro to the car; the same experience you'd have with any sales guy on the lot. Low on details until you ask 1,000 questions.

@@brucewayne3227 I haven't had any major issues with XTS (s) just the usual things but overall I would say yes they are reliable.
There was no "test drive"? I'm interested in road noise as I need to rent one for a 1200 mi road trip and I suffer from Tinnitus so road noise can cause headaches and concentration issues for me ... anyone have a db reading for freeway driving?

You missed 2 features if you press the back Cadillac symbol on the rear of the trunk it will open and the rear console opens

@@YTJoshuaMcDonald If you take the time to learn some basic video editing, you could have found an instance where the parking system did work & edit it into the video. Now that I think about it, though, a salesman told me yesterday that it does not automatically park; the sensors just help ensure that you don't bump into something when the driver is parking. So, maybe that's why it didn't park itself. haha.
It does park itself u just need cars in the parking spot in order for it to pic up and park itself
@@TBolt1 It does automatically park itself. I have a 2018 XTS that auto parks no problem. The driver controls the gas and break but can also take control of parking at any time. I will say that in my experience the car looks for other cars when parking. I have not tested parking in a lot full of spaces with no other cars around so I can't speak on it's detection of white lines only.
@@TBolt1 doesn’t work if no other cars are detected, well at least my 2017 doesn’t but it does if cars are in parking spaces

LOL....it wont open unless car is unlocked, if someone is desperate enough to siphon gas they are likely gonna get in one way or another. I had the gas door malfunction and trust me it isnt easy to open if it doesnt want to. I ended up fixing it after messing around, but was at gas station for a good 15 min trying to get my fuel door open. It was a one time incident, never happened again. DOnt even know what caused it.
@@jensz9360 I found out when I tried to put gas in my CTS with the far running so I locked the door... low and behold wouldn't open lol
You will find out after 60k miles about the performance n durability.

WOW they don’t make them like they use to. Too small and boxy. Mom has always driven a Cadillac. From what I see there is nothing in the line even similar to then size and look of the Deville.
The xts has tons of space, you have no idea what you are talking about. The last gen dts was ugly. The 2000-05 was amazing and this car totally over shadows it’s. Oh and both are transverse layout. The xts is the last hold over of fwd that Cadillac makes.
All this stuff was in my 7 series BMW 8 yrs ago
