People call it stingless bee, because it doesn’t have a sting at it tail,, it is called Prutt in khmer because they inside the cavities of dead wood, any beehive live a tree are called prutt for the Battambang. I ate some in 1977 in the pol pot time south of snoeng battambang, the honey of so sweet that one give me a slight headache right away, hundred attack my eyes , they flew straight to my eyes, no pain all just watery eyes. It was quite an experience I was all by my self taking care of water buffaloes about 3 in the afternoon, lol😅❤😂😢😅😊

The honey from stingless costs 10 to 30 more than regular bees with strings. The honey has so much health benefits I ordered early this year while surviving a Covid infection, but the taste is sour when I got from Philippine. I wish some start a stingless bees farm in Cambodia. 1 kg of this honey is 200 dollars, I repeat $200 for 1 kg of this stingless honey😮
