- "Monarchs of Mt. HIllers"- better upload version. Video footage shot with Panasonic Lumix fz200 m4/3 camera mounted with olympus 1.7 TC. A relatively inexpensive non professional camera set up that produces good results for "filming" wildlife. The set up is small and lightweight and allows me to be very mobile and responsive when videoing moving mule deer. Be sure to ALWAYS use a heavy well built tripod. All video footage shot on Utah's Henry Mountains Nov 2015. See ya out on the Mountain!

We might be brothers
@@whirlwindjml wouldn’t be surprised
They have some monsters down there. Thx for sharing. One of my favorite parts about working in mountains is seeing cool wildlife.
How could you dislike this video. Thank you. Those Buck's are Beautiful.
Thank you for the kind words and thanks for watching!
@00:35
What A MONSTER!
BEAUTIFUL- thank you for your videos & the time it takes
Awesome footage. These are some world class deer. Thank you for sharing.
That one giant is as close to an elk/deer cross that I’ve ever seen. Crazy!!!
It's such a cool thing to STILL see them thriving & multiplying after almost half of a century being on this planet- I'm so homesick!
Wow stunning footage tuning in a little late from New mexico awesome video keep em rolling
Biologists should get ahold of that elk/sika looking buck, for sure. Something interesting going on there.

The G2’s in the gene pool are Taaaaaall, awesome footage. Thanks
Moneyandtime Freedom Thanks for watching and for the compliment.
The buck at 4:08 has a super cool rack, looks like he was crossed with an elk!
+huntnut78 You're right on the money there! We actually nicknamed him "the elkbuck".
is he still alive? my dad has a managment tag this year for archery
that was my thoughts also......very tall guy
Amazing video with beautiful animals and no hunters
Jeep Man thanks for watching and for the compliment glad you liked it
These are the bucks that haunt me in my dreams.. year around…. Some day my friends… I’ll get one.
I'll Never forget buck fever and hearing my father say each October that his dreams showed him where we needed to go...Buck Fever is real, insanely addicting & some incredible feelings to have. Especially when the moments & memories are as fresh as when I got my first tag.
Not unless you are rich, the normal person will never get the chance, the deer season in Utah is bullshit.
Excellent footage right there👍
Hey thanks so much for comment. Means a lot!
Great footage!
eff vicious Thanks and thanks for watching!
Gorgeous, Beef-a-Ronies who only show themselves during the rut.
Absolutely awesome deer! That deer at 1:40 is not only a toad but lives in my favorite country to hunt. It’s like watching a day dream. Love me some PJ mulies! Thank you for sharing.
nmelkhunter1 That desert country and big ol bucks is something very special for sure. Thanks for watching!
Burr Desert. Henry Mountains. Getting on top up there, and looking put North and East, in my opinion, is the MOST beautiful sight I've ever seen. Especially towards sunset. There is a reason so many centuries of people call it God's Country. I am truly homesick....it's been long enough, time for a ride!
Absolutely beautiful video!! I would love to draw a tag for the Henry mountains. And the camera shoots very nice clear imagines. Thanks for sharing. You have a new subscriber. Well I actually subscribed before this video when I watch your son harvest an amazing Bull congratulations to you guys.
S WOLFGRAMM thanks for the kind words. yes the henry mountains are a special place for big mule deer. Thanks for subscribing to my channel.
Very nice!

Shadrach Howie you bet and thanks for watching!

WAY OF LIFE Productions Thanks tons and thanks for watching!
Great footage, settings and clarity Mark Petersen. I completely enjoyed your cinematography and choice of music. Are you sure these mulies weren't paid for their performance? The profiles and head-ons were magnificent.
Thanks Dimi Domo for the kind words and for watching.
That one at 4:55 has some elk DNA
That was absolutely spectacular!!! Well done!
ZAC. Thanks brother for the kind words and for commenting!!
No prob. Riveting footage! I was glued to the screen! Do you mind if I share shots on IG? What's your IG page?
I would absolutely be honored. But I don't have IG or FB. Seems I need to come out of the dark ages!
High Desert 10-4 buddy! Subscribed so I'll give you shout outs!
Wow I'm honored!! I'm a big fan so it means a lot!! God bless and success in the upcoming season!!
Awesome video guys... was wondering if those were elk or deer in the background at about the 4:00 mark, running (or spooked) from left to right, background was blurred, but definitely some animals running down the hill...
Rick Bradley thanks for watching!! Those are all mule deer running around. There were actually 2 unreal giant bucks over there chasing does all over that big burn.
amazing footage!
Thomas thanks for watching and thanks for the kind words!! That whitetail in your pic is a brute!!
High Desert he's a Saskatchewan buck! I put a successful stalk on a 160" muley I few days ago and thought it was big until I watched this video... haha
Thomas a 160 whitetail is BIG in my book and with a bow that adds 40 inches! Congrats on the success!!
Thomas
Huge mule deer
Wow
Wonderful
The Henry Mountains down next to Moab Utah.
Why did you put elk antlers on the one in the thumbnail 😂
Gods creation❤
TheRossillini I agree!
I've got to check my computer at home, but I think I have that very first buck on film from July 2015.
Jay B I'd love to see that buck in the velvet he'd be super heavy!
@@highdesert5296 Unfortunately, I checked and I lost the footage of that buck from 2015 when my external hard drive crashed last year. I know it's the same one, his antlers are very unique.
Wow id like to just even have some sheds off of the smallest deer in this video
Those are some nice bucks
Sara Brown it's always fun to see nice bucks strutting their stuff. Thanks for watching
Deer just like them, porter fork Gobblers knob, have to really hunt them
They are literally evolving into elk
Please do another video like this one
Bone Hound I really appreciate the encouragement. Perhaps I will. Stay tuned...

I’d like to share some pics with you 2021
That’s a great video would love to hunt there 🤔
Those are not mule deer those are elk! 😲
Nobody had a rifle with them?? Wtf.
Wyoming bi bucks
Unfortunately most of Utah is managed so poorly that a deer like this is just a dream anymore. Sadly. Central mountain manti is about as sad as it gets. Winter range shows about zero actual mature bucks. I haven't hunted utah deer in 15 years.
I agree.
It's not any better here in Colorado, used to be able to get a mule deer tag every year, have struck out the last 3 years.Time to move to wyoming.
Seems better to shoot with a camera than to shoot them .
R lowle being outdoors filming wildlife is pretty special for sure.
