I got mine on christmas eve, and I have to say they are magnificent. The series A isn't at all delicate, and are visually stunning to boot. You need one of these cases people!
As someone who tested the prototype, I'd like to say you're getting a good product when you buy this. Plus, customer service is always topnotch (repeat buyer). BUY IT
Wow, dude. You've really come a long way since offering TE plexis you started with last year. Kudos on a superbly engineered product. The level of ingenuity in these to allow such a level of customization is just awesome! Keep up the good work.
I see your point. However, thus far I have not had any issues with my personal cases, and I haven't heard of any issues from the hundreds of customers that have purchased these cases. That's the best I can tell you, as I'm not an electrician to get into the technicalities of controller PCBs. On a PC, where there's many more sensitive components, I can see that as a possible concern if proper installation isn't observed, and stand-offs aren't used.
Yes you can, however, the Tek Case was not designed specifically for this purpose so the Turbo Area was not taken into consideration. If you opt to remove the turbo area, then the rest will transfer into the case just fine.
I haven't played around with a Myoungshin Fanta Joy Stick yet to give a conclusive answer. But based on the pictures, it appears the joystick hole will need to be bigger than the normal opening .I'll have to put the Fanta stick on my list to check out. Thanks!
Sorry, plexi button inserts are still in progress. Been super swamped with new orders so I just haven't had the time to update my site with the button inserts
First of all, thanks for your answer. What I meant is that plexiglass could attract static electricity that could harm circuits and thus cases made using this material (eg for PCs) should be properly grounded.Maybe I was wrong or is not the case here. Thanks.
On the default layout (it's like the Madcatz TE layout) you'll need 8 30mm buttons, and probably 3 24 mm buttons for the side of the case (for the start, select and home buttons)
@ShadowG4mer I saw this was from a month ago but just incase. When you're choosing your layout to be cut into the top layer an 8 button option is there.
Also to add onto my previous comment, I own 2 of your plexi tops so I know how they handle, but since there is no metal support underneath, thats why i ask.
Art this stuff is phenomenal (no surprise). Now I have a question about these, how much of a beating can these things take? Considering they are hollow and quite light (I would assume without adding the weights) is it easy to crack it (since i myself am a huge masher).
I've never heard of that problem developing, to need to "get rid" of that potential. Unless you're playing vigorously with a wool sleeve, or wool glove directly on the panel, I don't see that problem. Many other cases are designed with plastic all around, so if that's any indication, static electricity doesn't appear to be a concern.
Thanks, I've gotten some reports of suspicious activity on my site. I have the site admin looking into it and running site inspections. Some of the reputable inspections have not shown anything suspicious, but one did turn up with something questionable. If it turns out to be serious I will shut the site down until further notice.
I'm interested in fabricating my own wooden case in my spare time or maybe even a metal one, do you have any tips? Can I find measurements for buttons, placement, and so on?
If you're still looking for info, I would strongly suggest slagcoin w[dot]slagcoin[dot]com[slash]joystick[slash]introduction[dot]html Replace the [dot] with ".", and [slash] with "/" since youtube won't let me link in comments. I learned everything about joysticks there, when I first started stick modding. And sorry for the late reply. Inbox has been bombarded so I missed some youtube notifications.
Hi, amazing case, really amazing, im planning to build a home made Fightpad, and that´s why im end here, can i ask you what are you using to cut that acrilic transparent plastic?, thanks, and congratulations for what a magnificent piece of case, you are great pal !
I really like them, they look very nice. But a question, whats the point of putting a image in the bottom? For me is a non-sense because you will never see it, or it will barely will be visible.
+MetalSonicodraco7342 Some people like to have their case as a display piece as well, so it can be seen while carrying it around or displayed somewhere. It's not much different than those who like a clear bottom to show their wiring work on the buttons/pcbs, and would have to flip it over to display it. In my case, I have a lot of fightsticks in my collection where I display them so people can see all the modded areas. Just different strokes.
ya this is the shit for 2013 when i roll to next years ssf4 AE tour here in barbados my own custom stick cause im building my own stick, its true and i gettin some anime custom artwork for it i love how this box set looks and the start/selection buttons at the front... OhHHHHH its on for next year Tournament
Would your case handle a happ/il stick and buttons? I've recently been messing with both american and japanese stile joysticks and came to the conclusion that I simply prefer american style joysticks since I am generally heavy handed on an arcade stick
So If I wanted a similar setup of your bottom plate, how do I do that? I mean artwork on bottom side and mirror coat on the top side of the bottom plate.
i really hope the site update includes plexiglass face replacements for the qanba q4. I wanted to replace the face of the TE, but i could never find the TE in stock
Man looking at this, makes me jelly. Do you make this by yourself while marketing this or do you own like a store for these kinds of work. The reason I ask is because I'm inspired to one day make arcade sticks for people who enjoy fighting games or regular arcade games . Any tips for one going through the art of making arcade sticks. ps. I haven't made any arcade sticks , just want to one day make & sell custom made arcade sticks.
+Romeo Vargas This uses the standard 30mm button setup just like the majority of the retail fightsticks. So whatever will fit in the 30mm hole, will fit here.
You all need to get some hitbox-style prefabs on ur site. These cases are amazing but having to design the face urself for a hitbox is ominous to new players.
+Tamashii Eater There is a disclaimer saying the material isnt as strong as the wooden/steel sticks. The acrylic layers need to been thicker for better support imo. The fish tanks that hold hundreds of gallons of water are made of the same acrylic. I imagine those are strong enough to withstand some fist pounding.
I'm not trying to sound like an ass, but this has to be the worst idea for a arcade stick. We all know in the heat of battle we all tend to get rough on are arcade stick. Not to mention what happens if you accidentally drop it. I guess these would be nice to display but never use.
If it is the "worst idea" for an arcade stick, it wouldn't be one of my popular sellers with repeat purchases. I've also mentioned clearly that this case isn't for everyone, so those who are heavy bashers, or hard on their fightsticks in other ways, may not want this as their primary. And those who have used this case responsibly have not had any issues. Accidental drops happen, but they usually just have to replace a couple of parts and things are good as new. Thanks for your thoughts.
arthong you can argue, but his point is solid. Arcade sticks should be survivors. This contructon can breake when youre puting it thogether, not to mention its fragile as fuck. It doesnt matter if its selling or not. Ist not even close to best way.
koifishstudio And you seem to miss the point I was making. No where do I claim these boxes are the most durable nor are they the "best way". If you read this somewhere, please point it out. I've mentioned the fragile nature of these fightsticks (like, don't drop them or don't Hulk Smash them), and I'm not hiding anything in that regard. But for those who are keen to taking care of their fightsticks, and can appreciate the aesthetics, and are fine with the fragile nature of an Acrylic fightstick, they've been working well for my customers. And although they are Fragile, they are far from being "Fragile as fuck", considering they can hold up to a good amount of play (given the conditions I've mentioned). So the original argument was that these are the "worst idea" for an arcade stick. Again, since they are high sellers, it's clearly not the case for being the "worst idea". And again, no where do I claim these are the "best". So what exactly are you arguing? You do understand there are different people with different tastes and interests, right? You don't like them? That's fine with me. But are you really just arguing an opinion now? Have you constructed one or have seen one in action to make you claims? Your feedback is welcomed, but I hope they're based on actual personal experience.
koifishstudio In other words, you have nothing else to prove your point, because you had no point. I explain my Tek-Cases for exactly what they are, and they perform just as described, and I made it clear how they are meant to perform. If you can't bother to review those details on my site, then that's your problem, not mine. Stop looking silly by trying to pick a fight over nothing. Other than that, you're entitled to your own opinion. Other people are entitled to theirs and my customer's interests tell me the story of whether to continue production or not. And currently, production is still going. But by all means, feel free to ask Tek-Case users what their opinions are. There are UA-camrs and others in the fighting game community showing their cases off. And for them, my Tek-Cases are "good" for their purposes. But you don't have to take my word for it. Feel free to ask them.
I got mine on christmas eve, and I have to say they are magnificent. The series A isn't at all delicate, and are visually stunning to boot. You need one of these cases people!

What a sweet Blazblue stick! So excited to put this together.
this box is not for sanford
So your BlazBlue-themed stick has Warmachine at the bottom. Ok.
cant wait to order one... gotta decide on colors and such.
thanks art!

That blue one is awesome!

excellent, is there way to make the guide button an extra button on the stick? like on the side or front
On the default layout (it's like the Madcatz TE layout) you'll need 8 30mm buttons, and probably 3 24 mm buttons for the side of the case (for the start, select and home buttons)

I recommend a crown lever bat-top joystick and some sanwa buttons.
Dustin Nunn I see you on so many arcade stick videos

Getting soon at you guys thanks,,, best price You can find to custom build your own mayhem, amazing!
There was a minor breach on my site and it has been dealt with. Everything should be clear now with new defensive measures in place. Thanks!
Beautiful Joystick.
wow how are the tolerances for all the acrylic parts???
and how thick are the panels? 3mm?
They start at $59, and then depends on other options. =)
Details on my website, in my video details.

Great work!!!.
Is it possible to put Myoungshin Fanta Stick in one these tek cases with Sanwa buttons?
do the appropiate screws come with?
Hi, is there an art template for this stick? I still have and use mine after the site went down, and I'm looking to make some custom art for it.
Looks like I can comment now after some UA-cam updates. I've been having issues with my comments not sticking when I reply to people.
How do you get rid of potential static electricity? Thanks.
So gorgeous!!! Neeeeeeeed!!
can i get this with 8 buttons hole layout? but like same thing
Mufasa2 from SRK. great stuff again sir
What size of buttons does this case fit? 30 mm or 24 mm? I plan on building one from scratch and need to know what buttons to get.
I want to give you money but the site keeps timing out when I go to it :/
could i rip out a pcb from a te stick and us it with this well?
And I thought you were into Warhammer, painting, and etc. What fighting games do you play?
Here mad late but, is there a list on how many and what kind of screws I need that I can look at?

I may order a 4button Stick JUST for Bwazblue May decide to go all out and get heavy custom [depending on the cost] or just a basic clear with my name
Holycrap Les is into fighting games too??!

Can I fit a Korean or Happ Joystick in this case?
The rubber feet come with... correct?
+Cole Xiong Correct
are you able to flip the top panel and have the buttons on the left side and the stick on the right side?
Yes, please email us for product questions, and we'll work with you. Thanks!
Now only if I knew where to find those Punch and Kick Pushbuttons.
is it possible to have some of the bits flipped around so the joystick is on the right and the buttons are on the left?
Looks awesome, but seems a bit flimsy. Any information on this?
If you still needed an answer on this, i get my case tmrw, and ill prolly build it over the weekend and let you know
GamingReel
how did it go if you don't mind me asking?
I wanna know too
So from your site I can get this product with a custom panel I describe using the designer?
Please email us with custom questions. The custom panel builder was not designed for the Tek-Case but we can work with you in other ways.
i really hope the site update includes plexiglass face replacements for the qanba q4. I wanted to replace the face of the TE, but i could never find the TE in stock
The case is just a case only, with the screws and nuts necessary to put it together. No other components are included as this is a DIY project.
nice done man, may i ask where did you get the case? can u tell me plsss..... tnx
Is the USB hub included? Or only case?
How much for this case, and where can i buy it?
I miss that layout..
Is your site down right now? If so how long will it be down for?

. . . such a sad thing you close mate ! . . . Literally just found out ! 2020/march. . .
Can I fit a Crown and a 30mm Seimitsu push buttons on this!
+Romeo Vargas This uses the standard 30mm button setup just like the majority of the retail fightsticks. So whatever will fit in the 30mm hole, will fit here.
How much???
Yo how much does that case cost?

Thanks. There is a Hitbox config option in the Tek-Case drop down selection for the button configurations.
+☆AXI☆ Get back to work, Pedro!
beautiful!!! but damn.. i'm too rough with my stick... I'd break it if i had this. :(
i want tis product
can a brook universal be attached to these cases?
Absolutely. You might need a small spacer to mount the board correctly, but it's universal.
Love the cases. Anyone know what that usb plug is called at 10:29? All the way on the right of the front of case.
That would be a "neutrik usb adapter"
Thank you so much
anyone knows which is the thickness of the top and bottom panels?
This is awesome but imagine the amount of fingerprints you would find on it after playing for just 15 minutes lol
@hollayerheard Buy clear buttons, take them apart, and insert the art
If you mean that in a negative way, you'll be "happy" to know that many of my customers disagree with you.
Is that Akuna's Theme? XD
how about removing the viruses out of ur site???
lol yeah
akuma theme nice!
Bumping this question :)
the case dont look so sturdy
can any one help me. i was wounding if i can use a arcade stick on skyrim and battlefield and other games besides fighting. thanks.
+Mr.EXE obvious troll.
wow, you didnt just change the game, you broke it.
donde puedo comprar una así? *_*
Pieza maestra
this is a nice concept but i don't like the flimsy materials. I would break this thing so fast.
+Tamashii Eater There is a disclaimer saying the material isnt as strong as the wooden/steel sticks. The acrylic layers need to been thicker for better support imo. those r seimitsu button
@hollayerheard i wanna know about this aswell
Lol that Iron Man.
Here's a simple led mod for fightstick:
