Located at the northern end of the Mar Menor, its name comes from a small church the fishermen dedicated to San Pedro in an area of pine trees. With its agricultural and fishing character, it has busy tourist activity in Lo Pagán, where its mud baths are particularly famous and good for your health.

The Regional Park of Las Salinas y Arenales of San Pedro is one of those perfect natural paradises for those who want to escape the masses and tourist resorts. A protected site for water birds and migratory birds, you can see flamingoes, walk along the hiking trails and see one of the most spectacular sunsets and sunrises.

Lovely sunrise with the Flamingos. We love San Pedro del Pinetar. Great spot for bird watching. We love it there as it is so peaceful. Hopefully we can visit it again next year. Stay safe.

Hi Shaun. Great vid, lovely sunrise, believe it or not ours was not dissimilar here in Port Solent today. Makes a change from the U.K. gloom but still could do with a bit more warmth.
Flamingos feeding... in summary, they eat algae and small crustaceans in the main. The vibration is actually the bird pumping water up to 20 times a second through its bill to filter out food from the water. They stamp around to disturb morsels from the silt to make the water richer in edible stuff.

Good Morning Shaun, another great video! I was watching your video on the cost of living. Would you say, that someone on a state pension only, would struggle to make ends meet? I'm planning to come over to buy next year using my private pension, but will only have a state income left.
Thank you Frank, glad you enjoyed the video. Cost of Living: I would say if you have only your state pension to live on, you would struggle. Depending on your life style for us with the pool, car, going out, building work and visiting the kids, we have to juggle our money as we don't have any life saving to fall on, just our private pensions and soon our state pensions. If your living in a small home, no pool then you may be okay. It's hard to say, best bet is to rent here in Spain and see if you can survive before committing yourself buying a property. Brexit is another one, no one knows yet until next year how that will effect being a resident. Lots to think about Frank. Many thanks for watching and good luck :)

Hi Shaun sorry to trouble you can you help we would love to live in camposol can you tell me if we managed to get a 2bed 2bath property for around 70k and had 150k in bank plus our standard pension myself and wife could we manage i am 58 my wife is 56 so not getting state pension yet but do you think we could manage?
Hi Gill, 2 bedroom 1 bathroom property no problem for 70K or less. We have private pensions at the moment and for the past 4 years I move over £1,000 to live off. But we did cleaning work to help us pay the bills and go out more to eat out. Private health care could cost you both about 200 euros for the both of you each month and with the Brexit happening so soon now I don't know what the costs you we need to become a resident (how much you need in your bank account). Hard one to answer at the moment, maybe wait till the new year and see how this Brexit pans out. Many thanks for watching :)
en España la sanidad es gratis para todo el mundo que este dentro del sistema,, si quieres estar dentro del sistema y tener sanidad gratis debes de entrar en el sistema, "es un fallo que los británicos tenéis,,, os miráis demasiado a vosotros mismos sir ver mas alla de 2 dedos de vuestra cara, ,,, con lo que te voy a dar varios consejos,, "que es lo que hacen todos los 8 millones de emigrantes que viven en España (ecepto los británicos que vivis en islas cerradas) para empezar, y como aun no tienes la edad de jubilación debes de trabajar aunque sea por un pequeño espacio de tiempo por ejemplo unos días, con lo cual ya estas dentro del sistema, y ya tienes acceso a la sanidad gratis de la seguridad social, aunque después no vuelvas a trabajar mas, en tu vida, la sanidad es un derecho universal y gratuito para todos los que viven en España,, pues ya tienes el derecho,,, y si no lo haces debes de esperarte a tener 65 años pues a esta edad es la jubilaciones en España y tendrás sanidad gratis incluidas todas la medicinas también gratis, España posee el 3 mejor sistema sanitaria del mundo,, si no tienes 65 años edad de jubilación lo mejor es conseguir un trabajo por pocos días donde te den de alta en la seguridad social y tener acceso a sanidad publica, la sanidad privada aquí en España no es buena, , precisamente por la potencia de la sanidad publica ,por ejemplo medicinas gratis a todos los mayores de 65 años, y a los demás te pagan el 85% de su valor, (por ejemplo yo tengo que tomar valium,,¿sabes lo que pago por una caja de valium,, o,.61 centimos de euro.. en España se puede vivir muy bien,, pero que muy bien por menos de 1.000 euros, y con una calidad de vida excepcional, que no tendrías en tu pais por el doble de dinero, aquí todo es barato y de excelente calidad,, somos el 2º pais con mejor calidad de vida del mundo y el 2º pais donde mas años vivimos después de Japón,,,,,, merece mucho la pena vivir en España,,,, aqui tienes unos consejos muy útiles... pagar una sanidad privada de 200 euros como algunos britanicos pagan es un fraude,, si quieres vivir en españa estos consejos seran muy buenos
