As a viewer it's always easier to come up with the correct answers with no pressure. But, as contestants you are nervous and there a lot of things going on behind the scenes. My sister Pat and I along with the other gals were there for almost 10 hours. 8 shows were taped that day and yes we were the last show that was taped. We had to sit through all the other shows and we were tired. So that is why we were not as sharp by the time we played. Tired but not IDIOTS. So next time you see any gameshow put yourself in their shoes, everyone is trying their hardest to win.
@@kathyaguirre5587 I guarantee I wouldn't be stupid like these people and all the others on any game show. I can work well under pressure. These people are idiots. I said what I said.
If I was the producer, I'd let the teams that didn't win at least keep the cash they earned during the sweep, like how the losers on Sale of the Century get to keep the cash in front of them.
One thing I have liked about The Price is Right since the 70's is their games are not electronic and all answers are revealed on paper or cards. Don't get me wrong this game is interesting but ANYTHING can be on those cards. And who knows if the digital totals for the carts is real. 🧐
I missed watching this show!!! I'm so glad I can watch reruns!!! The newer version is really fun, but not the same! Although, much more fun with Leslie hosting it!!!

the last clue david got tripped up
Who is writing these clues????
Someone in the 80s-90s lol
Prob. Jan from Scrabble wrote those clues
This show was determined NOT to have a winner with the clues given. Pitiful
Wonder if host ever thinks back and says to himself god damn were my sweaters fugly
The clues to the final game were so bad.
Whoever were the writers for this show madd this impossible to win with the questions they asked. So dumb in all sections of the show
Hard last clue. They were doomed anyway...
zachery alderton
No more nonsense.
That was a hard one
kittykat9411 The clues from 1991 were notorious for being hard
Have Sheila and Ann appeared on the Sweep Of Champions?
"Pippin"? "Cuished?" "The French Open"? They weren't too bright!
@Violet Raven クリスタル "OK, Pam. Now, how do we spell 'quiche'?"

Mitchell Ries I strongly disagree with that.
I agree
I agree with you there, Mitchell.
20:32 Why did he say "Da" was German? That's Russian.

Wow, what low big sweep times. These teams were not very sharp.

That wasn't very nice and that was very rude when David said no that was ve when the lady said The French Open😟😟😟😟😟😟😟
His comments were sexist, his questions are invasive. Love the show but that part sux
Here we go with with the retroactive canceling🙄
Bob Barker was far worse
